Language Trainers | In-Person (Workplace or Home) and Online (Zoom-Meet-Skype) Language Courses

• Online teaching of Catalan for one-to-one sessions • Provide lessons to beginner students in the specified age group • Schedule sessions twice per week, on Monday and Thursday afternoons

Job Requirements

  • Be a native Catalan speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification

Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Construction Estimator / Bid Coordinator to review construction plans, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates and submit competitive bids for commercial and residential construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing project requirements, and preparing professional estimates. Experience with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and interior finish plans is highly preferred. Responsibilities - Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. - Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and blueprints. - Analyze architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and finish schedules. - Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. - Identify project scope, inclusions, exclusions, and potential risks. - Request and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing. - Prepare and submit bid proposals before deadlines. - Track bid opportunities and maintain bid calendars. - Communicate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and clients regarding bid requirements. - Review addendums and update estimates as required. - Assist with value engineering and cost-saving recommendations. - Maintain estimating databases, pricing libraries, and bid records. - Generate bid summaries, scope sheets, and proposal documents. - Participate in pre-bid meetings and project hand-off discussions when awarded.
