Senior Staff Representative - Quality Assurance, Airworthiness Directive Compliance

If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape. - Responsible for providing the oversight and surveillance of the Airworthiness Directive (AD) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) compliance process at United Airlines. - Perform AD/CFR related audits to ensure Airworthiness Documents / Engineering Authorizations comply with the requirements: - Ensure AD/CFR's are properly implemented and controls are in place for continued compliance. - Determine document discrepancies and follow up to correct discrepancies noted. - Coordinate any A.D related questions or issues with the FAA: - Review Alternative Method of Compliance (AMOC) Proposals. - Provide reporting requirements to the FAA as required by the AD/CFR. - Perform other audits as directed by management: - Perform physical audits of aircraft to ensure continued compliance. - Perform induction aircraft AD/CFR audits. Qualifications - Undergraduate degree in technical, safety, or aviation related discipline or equivalent level of work experience. - FAA Airframe and/or Power-plant Certificate or equivalent aircraft maintenance/inspection and quality assurance experience is required. - 7 years of any combination of heavy commercial aviation maintenance, inspection, engineering or quality assurance experience. - Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills. - Working knowledge of pertinent Code of Federal Regulations and Company Manuals / Requirements. - Familiar with engineering authorizations, service bulletins, AMM's, IPCs, etc. - Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Applications and demonstrated experience with ability to learn Company / Department IT Platforms. - In-depth experience interacting with FAA. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. - Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification. - Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position. Requirements - The base pay range for this role is $89,965.00 to $117,212.00. - The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related factors such as experience, education, and skills. - This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
