Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Staff Representative in Quality Assurance (On-Wing Maintenance Surveillance), you will be vital in maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence across United's Technical Operations and vendor network. This position requires leading audits, investigations, and surveillance to ensure alignment with FAA regulations and our internal Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS). You will collaborate cross-functionally to identify risks, resolve non-compliance issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives within On-Wing Maintenance and related functions. With 40-50% travel, this role significantly impacts our global maintenance operations while serving as a key liaison with regulatory bodies and industry partners. Responsibilities Include: - Conduct internal and external audits and compliance assessments - Investigate non-compliance events, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions - Prepare and present audit reports and findings to senior leadership - Provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams - Represent United at FAA and industry meetings, supporting continuous improvement initiatives - Assist with voluntary self-disclosures and FAA Letters of Investigation - Travel 40-50% to domestic and international sites for on-site quality oversight Note: This is a remote position with a 50% travel requirement.
