• Setting and executing the pharmacy procurement strategy across all pharmacy service lines. • Providing strategic and operational oversight of medication purchasing, contracting alignment, inventory optimization, and procurement-related compliance for the health system's pharmacy enterprise.

• Cultivate and expand pharmacy program opportunities by collaborating with consultants, leadership, and subject matter experts. • Analyze clinical, contracting, financial, operational, and market trends to deliver insights that inform strategic direction. • Design and facilitate voice of customer engagements to learn stakeholders’ requirements, strategic agendas, and tactical direction. • Ensure stakeholders understand where and how to access pharmacy program offerings. • Develop new and maintain current relationships with assigned stakeholders. • Synthesize inputs from client discussions and comparative data to generate actionable recommendations. • Maintain existing and generate new projects and contracts that produce strategic and market insights. • Guide and influence cross-functional teams to ensure project and contract alignment to stakeholder needs. • Recommend, diagnose, and validate root causes of healthcare strategic, operational, and clinical challenges.

• Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients • Ensuring drug therapy that results in safe, effective, and cost conscious use of pharmaceuticals • Actively participates in organizational and departmental performance improvement efforts • Participates on the multidisciplinary team by consistently attending patient care rounds • Participates in medication reconciliation at the time of admission, transfer, and/or discharge • Shares pharmaceutical expertise by coordinating and providing educational presentations or in-services for pharmacy and non-pharmacy staff • Supports pharmacy residency programs, clerkship students and interns by precepting organized rotations

Role Description The Referral Coordinator is responsible for expediting the administrative requirements of patient referrals between participating providers and patient health plans. The incumbent acts as a resource regarding referrals and insurance plan guidelines.
