Lead Clinical Sales Liaison
Exact Sciences
• Work cross functionally with field sales team and medical science liaison team to provide product education at cancer centers on the Exact Sciences Precision Oncology portfolio • Generate deep insight into cancer centers providers (HCPs) aligned with each • Build a network of relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), HCPs, other clinicians and key stakeholders across the healthcare market in order to gather insight about their dynamic needs, clinical and operational challenges and concerns that Exact Sciences can address • Synthesize data from a range of formal and informal sources to understand the evolving and dynamic local care system, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness and share with sales, marketing and other cross-functional colleagues • Demonstrate ability to understand major data sources (clinical trials, studies, published reports, etc.) relative to the use of Exact Sciences’ products, including clinical and select health economics and outcomes research data (HEOR) • Support health systems, population health leaders, and medical quality professionals to inform the value of our product portfolio for patients and populations • Using approved resources, deliver product education and promotional presentations to healthcare providers, health systems and medical group leadership, and community/advocacy groups • Provide insight into market trends and competition • Build relationships and assist in the development of key opinion leaders as potential speakers and collaborators for Exact Sciences, and collaborate with Precision Oncology Medical Affairs leadership in the development of key opinion leaders • Develop relationships with key decision makers in health systems, medical groups, healthcare provider offices, state departments of health, advocacy organizations, and national/regional professional societies • Provide the Clinical Affairs team with recommendations on investigator and site selection for future clinical trials and studies • Provide insights to Sales Force Effectiveness team regarding opportunities for updates and improvements in sales force training • Identify and attend regional and national trade shows, symposia, and scientific/clinical meetings that are aligned with territory and brand strategy • Manage time and travel expense budget for product education and promotional activities within dedicated regions • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as effective presentation skills • Ability to work well independently and manage time effectively • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures • Maintain regular and reliable attendance • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization • Ability to work Monday through Friday during typical business hours, and some weekends (scientific meetings) • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 10% of a typical working day • Ability to work seated for approximately 60% of a typical working day • Ability to work standing for approximately 40% of a typical working day • Ability to work on mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 50% of a typical working day • Ability to travel approximately 60% of working time which equates to spending approximately 3 days per week in the field, supporting a multi-state geography.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant health professions/sciences or related field (e.g., biotechnology, biology, health sciences, or clinical sciences leading to necessary skills) OR Bachelor’s degree in a relevant health professions/sciences or related field and 4+ years of field-based medical affairs experience in lieu of master’s degree
- 5+ years of industry experience in healthcare or medical technology fields with Medical Affairs or similar industry experience
- Ability to meet any requirements set by healthcare facilities for access to those facilities (e.g. vaccination requirements, mask requirements, etc.)
- Possession of a valid driver's license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed
- No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months
- No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol-related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months
- No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that expose Exact Sciences to what Exact Sciences deems to be an unacceptable level of liability
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

This role is primarily accountable for driving Merchant Cloud revenue growth across SEA, with clear ownership of pipeline development, deal origination, complex sales execution, and commercial closure. The successful candidate will lead sales of Mastercard's Merchant Cloud platform (gateway, orchestration, value-added services) across acquirers, payment facilitators, ISVs, PSPs, and large strategic merchants. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales Specialist, Acceptance & Merchant Solutions SEA, this role acts as the regional Merchant Cloud sales owner, complementing country teams by originating priority opportunities, accelerating large deals, and scaling platform adoption across the ecosystem.
