Role Description As a fast-growing leader in the residential home reselling space, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Repairs Team Lead to oversee our multi-national team of repair coordinators and manage the end-to-end execution of residential repair projects. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and high-quality repair work across a large volume of properties nationwide. You’ll play a pivotal role in: - Vendor management, pricing negotiations, repair triage, and quality assurance. - Leading a distributed team across the U.S., Mexico, and India. - Driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience managing teams within the real estate, property management, and construction sectors. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in property management, residential repair project management, and/or residential construction operations. - Deep understanding of residential construction methods, pricing, and means across various U.S. regions. - Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, construction management platforms, and scheduling systems. - Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a sharp attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and contractors. - Problem-solver with the ability to independently manage issues and drive solutions. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-driven environment. Requirements - Manage our network of vendors, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and ongoing relationship development with local and regional contractors. - Negotiate budgets and pricing tables with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality. - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure homes are market-ready on time and within budget. - Address and resolve vendor issues, escalations, or repair delays by partnering with internal & external teams. - Lead and manage a remote team of Repair Coordinators operating across multiple time zones (U.S., Mexico, India). - Oversee the repair process lifecycle, including project ordering, vendor coordination, scheduling, budget management, status tracking, and invoice reconciliation. - Monitor and manage repair pipelines, enforce SOPs, and maintain consistent internal communication. - Monitor Repair Coordinator teams’ KPIs and drive performance management and coaching (when necessary). - Participate in hiring and onboarding of new Repair Coordinators. - Deliver regular reporting on project timelines, costs, and challenges, providing insights to inform strategic decisions. - Manage the collection and coordination of insurance documentation and claims requests with our insurance provider. - Support ad-hoc repair and maintenance projects as needed.
