Role Description GovCIO is currently hiring a SQA tester to support the Health Services Portfolio Technical Management and Strategic Solutioning Support (HTMS) program within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This role is a fully remote position within the United States. Core office hours are 8am – 5pm ET. - Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment to ensure that the product will perform to specifications. - Work with developers, end users and organizations to create test plans and test scripts. - Coordinate with test sites and other team participants to plan test events. - Develop testing procedures, test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests. - Implements the testing processes and ensures all test activities follow those processes. - Produces reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics. - Monitors for continual test process improvement through failure analysis, throughput analysis, yield analysis, and report to management periodically. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline plus 10 years of experience. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. - Experience in the software development lifecycle. - Experience testing Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications, Section 508 and Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA). - Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). - Proficient with MS SharePoint and MS Teams. - Experience using Jira in an Agile or SAFe environment. - Demonstrated experience in a remote work environment. - Great interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision. Requirements - Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance. Preferred Skills and Experience - Experience in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and/or other Federal Agencies. - Well-versed in the VA project management methodology and other VA-related reporting methodologies. - Experience in VA Pharmacy. - Willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills, new client environments, and grow domain expertise. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Excellent prioritization and time management skills. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and stay organized. - 508 Testing experience is a plus. • Take the lead in Supplier Quality Rescue Projects, driving issue resolution, action plans and strategic supplier improvement • Collaborate with our Team in Brazil to ensure that our supplier quality targets are met by conducting on-site supplier audits and visits, investigate quality problems, implement sustainable solutions and provide regular progress updates to our Top Management • Perform Risk Assessment during selection process for new Suppliers • Provide onboarding training to our suppliers • Conduct supplier (quality system and product) audits, risk assessments, and technical visits to ensure quality standards, manage supplier performance and foster continuous improvement • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions while managing non-conformance processes and supplier blocks • Support the handling of quality requirements, product design and supply chain as well as process changes, while monitoring supplier performance and driving Lean initiatives • Work closely with cross-functional Embraer teams and suppliers to resolve issues, enhance integration, and deliver executive updates.

• Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain customer care quality scorecards • Conduct quality evaluations of recorded and live customer interactions • Assess agent adherence to procedures and compliance procedures • Facilitate and participate in calibration sessions • Support Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) calibration efforts • Analyze QA data and reporting to identify trends • Provide performance reporting and support to supervisors • Identify training needs through QA evaluations • Oversee the end-to-end processing of member complaints and grievances • Review, document, and research Authorized Representative (AOR) forms • Ensure timely and accurate completion of QA reporting • Handle inbound or outbound calls as needed • Report any compliance concerns or policy violations

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated testing activities for enterprise software applications • Review product requirements and technical specifications to identify risks, define test coverage, and support sprint planning activities • Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and QA colleagues to ensure high-quality software delivery • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation based on business and technical requirements • Investigate defects and test failures through log analysis, database validation, and application troubleshooting • Validate functionality across web, mobile, API, and backend systems where applicable • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software quality, testing efficiency, and team processes • Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives • Help drive a quality-first mindset throughout the software development lifecycle
