Role Description Wilson Sonsini is looking to join the firm's Innovation team. The AI Enablement Specialist plays a key role in advancing legal service delivery through the evaluation and implementation of AI technology and process improvements across legal practice areas. This position collaborates closely with practice group leadership, attorneys, paralegals and other professionals, technology teams, and external vendors and partners to enhance workflows and improve efficiency. This role requires the ability to translate practitioner needs into practical, technology-enabled solutions. Legal practice experience is preferred. This position is available as a full virtual opportunity. - Contribute to the development of AI-enabled solutions, automated workflows, data-driven tools, and support internal operations and legal work. - Support the development and execution of innovation strategies aligned with the needs of legal practice areas. Collaborate with practice groups to assess technology needs and develop tailored innovation strategies. - Leverage experience to drive the evaluation of emerging technologies (legal and non-legal) and provide actionable recommendations on their applicability to attorneys and practice areas. - Lead pilot programs, proof-of-concept initiatives, and testing efforts to assess usability, effectiveness, and impact of new tools. - Coordinate the rollout and adoption of technology solutions, ensuring integration into existing workflows with minimal disruption. - Partner with cross-functional teams to align innovation efforts with broader organizational priorities. - Support change management efforts, including developing and delivering training and communications to encourage adoption of new tools and processes. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce friction, and improve service delivery. - Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and training materials to communicate Innovation department initiatives and outcomes to stakeholders. Qualifications - Law firm experience or legal background preferred. - 3+ years of experience with AI and training technology tools. - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Demonstrated experience working with technology solutions (e.g., document automation, matter management systems, AI-enabled tools, or workflow platforms). - Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical guidance for legal professionals. - Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence adoption of new tools and processes among legal stakeholders. - Experience managing projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders, including the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. - The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. - The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $150,000 - $200,000 per year. - The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
