Sales Representative Territory: Ontario, Canada Berger is looking for a high-energy, results-oriented Sales Representative to drive growth across a strategic territory. In this role, you will promote and sell Berger’s industry-leading horticultural products to professional growers in ornamental, fruits and vegetable markets. If you’re motivated by being challenged, passionate about helping customers succeed, and eager to contribute to the ongoing growth of an industry leader, this opportunity may be a perfect fit for you. - Grow an opportunistic territory and position Berger products using your proven consultative selling skills - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to anticipate and forecast their needs - Represent Berger as an engaged ambassador within industry associations and networks - Oversee the order entry process, ensuring accurate submission and follow-up - Collaborate closely with internal teams (Logistics, Customer Service, Technical Advisors, etc.) to deliver an outstanding customer experience - Maintain a proactive presence in the market by gathering and sharing customer insights and industry feedback - Drive customer engagement through a structured, results-oriented sales process Qualifications - Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or equivalent relevant training/experience - Demonstrated sales success with a solid solution-selling approach - Knowledge or experience in controlled environment agriculture including leafy greens, fruit, and vegetable production - Strong relationship-building and networking abilities - Equally comfortable self-directed, motivated, and working within a collaborative team environment - Ability to travel regularly within the territory; valid driver’s license and passport required - Willing to travel outside of territory 3-4 times per year for sales meetings and industry events - Knowledgeable working in CRM tools and digital sales platforms Benefits - Annual vacation, holidays and flexible personal days - RRSP and group health, vision and dental insurance available - Employee assistance program - Sales training and skills development Working Conditions - Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) - Remote / home-based role - Frequent travel to customer sites within the territory Company Description At Berger, we have been developing and marketing the best horticultural mixes for growing flowers, berries, market garden products in greenhouses and much more for more than 60 seasons.
