Job Requirements
- 5+ years of elite technical sourcing experience, specifically embedding with deep-tech, hardware, or advanced R&D teams.
- Proven track record of finding "purple squirrels" sourcing highly specialized, passive technical talent using advanced Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and alternative sourcing channels.
- High autonomy & speed: Experience working as an independent contractor (1099) or in a solo/scrappy sourcing role where you didn't rely on a massive HR team or rigid infrastructure to succeed.
- Exceptional communication: Ability to professionally interface with executive leadership (reporting to a VP) and articulate complex, mission-driven tech (like fusion energy) to passive candidates.
- Deep understanding of hardware/physics engineering: You know the difference between software sourcing and recruiting for complex physical systems (e.g., magnetics, cryogenics, power electronics, or nuclear/plasma systems).
- Strategic talent mapping: Proven ability to map out competing companies, research labs, and academic institutions to find niche talent.
- No-fluff closing skills: Experience handling the initial screen and "selling" a high-risk, high-reward startup mission to comfortable, senior industry professionals.
- Systems Expertise: Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); direct experience with Lever is a strong plus.
- Experience with SharePoint and Slack is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.

Role Description The Lateral Recruiting Coordinator supports the legal recruiting team as needed. This position coordinates recruiting and hiring processes for entry-level associates and lateral candidates and assists in other lawyer recruiting and retention efforts.
