Account Manager
Mongoose
• Consistently meet or exceed assigned renewal and expansion quotas to drive revenue growth. • Develop informed, strategic retention and growth plans in partnership with your Customer Success Manager. • Lead renewals with confidence so clients feel valued, supported, and excited to sign on for another year (or more). • Build pipeline through focused weekly outbound activities, own upsell and cross-sell opportunities by showing clients how Mongoose can solve even more of their challenges. • Build rock-solid relationships through strategic outreach and Mongoose Quarterly Reviews (MQRs). • Collaborate with Marketing and Leadership to identify risks and develop creative solutions to challenges or closing opportunities. • Represent Mongoose at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Job Requirements
- Proven success carrying a renewal and/or expansion quota in a B2B SaaS environment with a consistent track record of exceeding targets.
- You’ve demonstrated the ability to build healthy pipelines, convert with strong win rates, and successfully drive renewals while growing accounts through upsells and cross-sells.
- You know how to sell without feeling “salesy,” positioning solutions in ways that feel natural, helpful, and downright irresistible.
- You’re a natural at connecting with people and building trust, making clients feel understood and supported.
- Your exceptional communication skills ensure even complex ideas are easy to understand and act on.
- You don’t wait for problems to knock—you see them coming and have solutions ready before anyone else notices.
- As a strong, strategic thinker, you’re always looking for ways to improve processes and drive better outcomes.
- You use data as a secret weapon—leveraging insights to uncover opportunities, address challenges, and shape your approach.
- You excel at translating data into actionable insights that empower clients to make informed business decisions, and you bring experience with CRM systems (bonus points for HubSpot expertise!).
- You thrive in a team-oriented environment, aligning with Marketing, Product, and Client Success to deliver exceptional results.
