Sales Engineer
Peach
• Lead the end-to-end technical sales process for new customer sales • Listen to product, technical and business challenges from customers and lead technical discovery conversations to uncover and clarify product, technical and business requirements • Lead out-of-the-box and customized product demonstrations to convey platform capabilities to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders • Answer product and technical capability questions from prospects - both verbally and in writing - in a way that clearly explains both how our system works and how this creates value for customers • Deliver technical and functional deep dive presentations to specific functional audiences within the prospective customer organization to help them understand more deeply how Peach’s platform will deliver value for their functional group • Design custom solution architecture maps, including system integrations, data flows, and technical specifications, based on customer requirements • Lead workshops to refine solution descriptions and architecture maps based on customer input and feedback • Document customer product descriptions and requirements • Identify and document gaps in our solution that would be required in order to deliver a complete solution • Collaborate with the Product team to draft statement of work (SOW) solutions for prospective customers to fill product gaps • Configure and maintain sandbox environments for prospects during evaluation • Leverage developer tools (e.g. Postman) to demonstrate how the system works • Collaborate effectively with Account Executive (sales) counterparts to manage risk throughout a long complex sales process
Job Requirements
- 5+ years selling to banks or FinTechs in (pre) sales engineering, solution consultant or solution architecture role
- Alternative experience as product owner for financial technology/infrastructure product
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other STEM field of study
- Masters degree preferred
- Strong understanding of banking and fintech industry (retail banking, small business, deposits, lending, payments and issuing)
- Experience designing technical solution architecture maps with system integrations, data flows, and technical specifications
- Technical skills: Ability to use Postman, make API calls, interpret JSON output.
