Role Description We are seeking a Finance & Strategy Senior Manager to support Proto, Block’s bitcoin mining hardware business. In this role, you will help scale our deal processes, support self-mining initiatives, and evaluate new venture opportunities across the bitcoin ecosystem. You will partner closely with product, engineering, legal, and business teams to assess complex transactions, build financial models, and drive strategic decision-making as we expand Proto’s platform and operating footprint. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will engage directly with external counterparties, including customers and other external partners, while building financial frameworks, sizing opportunities, and evaluating product and deal economics. The ideal candidate combines traditional finance training (banking, investing, or strategy) with bitcoin fluency and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment. You will report to the Director of Finance and Strategy. You Will - Serve as a strategic finance partner to Proto leadership, providing rigorous financial analysis to support decision-making across hardware, self-mining, and infrastructure initiatives. - Build, own, and maintain end-to-end financial models for Proto programs and ventures, including forecasting, unit economics, and capital allocation across multiple initiatives. - Develop scenario, sensitivity, and investment analyses to evaluate new deals, self-mining expansions, energy partnerships, and operational changes, clearly articulating short- and long-term tradeoffs and financial impact. - Support deal structuring and execution with external counterparties, including pricing frameworks, contract economics, counterparty assessment, and evaluation of new venture opportunities across the Bitcoin ecosystem. - Lead ad-hoc analyses and special projects related to Proto’s P&L, capital deployment, performance metrics, and strategic priorities, in close collaboration with F&S and cross-functional partners. Qualifications - 8+ years of relevant finance experience, with a strong preference for candidates with an investment banking background and subsequent experience in strategic finance, corporate development, or principal investing roles. Experience in fintech, infrastructure, energy, or digital assets is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex analyses and drive outcomes on cross-functional, high-impact initiatives, particularly in fast-moving or ambiguous environments. - Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex, unstructured problems into clear frameworks, develop actionable analyses, and communicate recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders. - Comfort working with financial and operational metrics, building new KPIs, and navigating large or imperfect data sets to inform decision-making. - Intellectual curiosity and interest in Bitcoin and digital asset infrastructure; prior hands-on experience in the space is beneficial but not required. - Ability to balance rigor with speed, exercising sound judgment while moving decisively in a dynamic, execution-oriented environment. • Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Commercial organization • Develop deep understanding of brand strategies • Own revenue forecast models for MYFEMBREE, APTIOM, and LATUDA • Prepare Market Access operating expense summaries • Lead timely completion of forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans • Develop presentation materials for SMPA Revenue Forecast Committee reviews

• Own the execution and tracking of incoming and outgoing payments - batch invoicing, check processing, ACH routing, revenue capture, etc. • Interface with our bookkeeping system; assist with month-end close; ensure transactions are accurately categorized and reconciled with the business reality. • Develop approach and manage tax compliance, SaaS pricing models, and revenue collection processes. • Support deal commission management, execute on approach to tie CRM and financial systems. • Streamline manual processes across finance; identify tools and build documentation for repeatable operations. • Maintain and evolve our internal metrics reporting - financial dashboards, unit economics, cohort analysis, and more; Metrics reporting may extend beyond financials and into operational metrics • Build and own our financial model and annual budget; lead scenario planning and cash forecasting. • Create and maintain financial update materials that clearly articulate financial performance and capital efficiency. • Manage team reimbursements, internal requests for spend, and identify opportunities to improve cost structure.
