Role Description Remote Recruitment is looking for an IT Helpdesk Agent to join a UK-based employer, working fully remotely from South Africa. You will be the first friendly voice people reach when something is not working, helping staff get back on track quickly and calmly. If you enjoy solving problems and explaining things in plain language, this one is for you. - Respond to IT support requests by email, chat and phone - Troubleshoot common hardware, software and login issues - Log tickets clearly and keep users updated on progress - Escalate trickier problems to senior technicians - Help set up accounts, devices and access for new staff - Write simple how-to notes for recurring questions Qualifications - Experience with IT support or a strong interest in starting one - Familiarity with Windows, common office software and basic networking - A patient, helpful manner with non-technical users - Clear written and spoken English - A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace Benefits - Salary of R15,000–R18,000 per month, paid in ZAR - A fully remote role — work from anywhere in South Africa - Standard hours of 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST) - A friendly Remote Recruitment team behind you and a stable, long-term UK client Company Description
