Editor, Technical Marketing Content
Prowess Consulting LLCWe are a collaborative team of technology experts with a knack for storytelling.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and readability of all content in assigned subject areas. • Edit a variety of deliverables for style, tone, grammar, branding, and audience while ensuring that content adheres to each client’s unique preferences and requirements. • Develop and edit content to published specifications. • Work closely with teammates across disciplines to polish and finalize deliverables, including verifying substantiation, requesting permission to cite third-party resources, and identifying missing/incorrect content in templated materials. • Identify essential information and key takeaways within content and verify that any key claims include appropriate substantiation. • Review content for AI writing artifacts and red flags and edit to use more natural language while preserving the essential information.
• Own the substance of how Sumble shows up in the world: the strategic narrative, the editorial voice, the assets that ship, and the social presence that compounds. • You'll have full strategic ownership, stakeholder authority, and a real budget for tools and external resources. • Define what Sumble sounds like, how we tell our story, and what we put into the world across every format that matters: long-form content, organic social, founder-voice posts, ad creative, sales enablement, brand. • Build the voice guide, tone do's and don'ts, and stylistic conventions that scale across every channel and every contributor, internal and external. • Develop and own Sumble's strategic narrative: the through-line story about why GTM data is broken, what we built, and what becomes possible when teams have signals no one else can produce. • Partner with the founders and Head of Marketing to evolve the narrative as the company and market evolve. • Set the editorial calendar, write the posts, and shape the cadence that earns attention without leaning on paid amplification. • Swing comfortably across formats: essays and market analyses on the long end, social posts and ad copy on the short end, with everything in between. • Track what works and what doesn't, by piece and by channel. Know which content drives pipeline, which drives brand, and which drives nothing, and adjust accordingly. • Mine Sumble's own data and platform signals to produce content no one else can publish: data teardowns, market maps, hiring-signal reports, technology adoption curves.

By leveraging data-driven insights and creative strategies, we ensure Airwallex stands out in a competitive market. Our team is passionate about telling the Airwallex story and supporting the company's growth and success. What you'll do Reporting to the Director, Global Growth Content, you will own and scale Airwallex's growth and demand generation content engine globally on the payments product. You will work closely with global and regional teammates across Growth, Product Marketing, Product, SEO, Performance Marketing, and Lifecycle to build content that drives qualified demand, pipeline, and revenue. This role is ideal for a hands-on content leader who loves writing and editing SEO content, ebooks, guides, and one-pagers, and who is excited to go deep on technical product narratives-translating complex capabilities into clear, compelling, conversion-oriented content. You will join the Airwallex Marketing team during a critical period of growth. As we scale, we are building a team that balances global consistency in content strategy, quality, and process, with local flexibility and speed in execution. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how growth content drives the next phase of Airwallex's expansion. This role is based in San Francisco. Responsibilities: - Build Growth Content Marketing as a global discipline at Airwallex, establishing best practices, scalable processes, and a high-performing team over time. - Own the end-to-end demand gen content strategy, spanning SEO, gated assets, mid-funnel conversion content, and product-led narratives. - Write, edit, and ship high-impact content including: - SEO pillar pages, cluster articles, and comparison content - Ebooks, whitepapers, and long-form guides - One-pagers, solution briefs, and product explainers - Partner deeply with Product Marketing and Product to translate launches, features, APIs, and workflows into content that is searchable, understandable, and sellable. - Use user, customer, and market insights to improve ICP targeting, segmentation, messaging, and content distribution strategies. - Work closely with SEO and Performance Marketing to align content with keyword intent, funnel stages, and conversion goals. - Be obsessive about measurement and iteration, using performance data to continuously optimize content for traffic quality, engagement, and pipeline impact. - Hold a high bar for content quality and technical accuracy, ensuring clarity without oversimplifying complex concepts. - Build a structured experimentation mindset-scaling what performs, refreshing or retiring what doesn't. - Balance short-term growth outcomes with longer-term investments in evergreen content, topical authority, and durable demand. Who you are We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. Minimum qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in growth content marketing, demand gen content, or SEO-led content roles, preferably at a high-growth B2B technology company. - A proven track record of creating content that drives measurable business outcomes across the funnel-from traffic to MQLs to pipeline. - Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain technical products, platforms, or workflows clearly and credibly. - Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword intent, on-page optimization, internal linking, and content clustering. - A data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze content performance and optimize based on results-not just instincts. - Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Product, SEO, Performance, and Lifecycle teams. - Comfort working in a fast-paced, global environment and communicating progress and impact to key stakeholders. - Experience managing freelancers or agencies and holding them to a high bar for quality and performance. - Familiarity with common CMS, SEO, analytics, and experimentation tools (e.g., Webflow/WordPress, GSC, GA4, Ahrefs).
