Role Description Our benchmarks and analysis are what the industry turns to when they need to understand AI capabilities, from AI labs and enterprises to media, investors, and policymakers. Robotics is a new vertical for Artificial Analysis: we're initiating coverage of AI-driven robotics and hiring a Member of Technical Staff to lead it. This is a unique combination of product, research, technical, and client-facing work, suited to highly driven technical generalists who thrive on breadth and ownership. As the lead of a new vertical, you'll have an unusual amount of both, with the scope to shape what our robotics coverage becomes. You'll work directly with our founders and across the full team. What You’ll Do: - Lead Our Initiation of Coverage: Take our robotics coverage from zero to launched, defining the methodologies, benchmarks, and leaderboards that will anchor the new vertical, and own the roadmap from there. - Robotics Benchmarking Product Development: Structure, design and execute projects to evaluate VLAs, world models, and full robotic systems, including developing new evaluation methodologies and datasets that establish our robotics benchmarking capabilities. - Strategic Analysis of Robotics: Drive developing reports and data visualizations to communicate complex robotics concepts to enterprises looking to shape their AI and robotics strategy. - Partner with Leading Robotics Companies: Collaborate with the labs building robot foundation models and the companies building robots to support them in benchmarking their technologies. - Become AI-Native: Embrace an AI-native workflow, using cutting-edge AI tools to generate leverage in a fast-changing industry and maintain our competitive edge in AI benchmarking. - Company Strategy: Contribute to company strategy and drive large initiatives that will support us in being the leading AI benchmarking company. Qualifications - Intense interest in AI and robotics. - Strong analytical and coding skills. - Genuine desire to become a world expert at the intersection of AI and robotics. Requirements - Robotics and Embodied AI: Backgrounds include Robotics Engineer, Research Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar roles. - AI and Machine Learning: Backgrounds include ML Engineer, ML Researcher, AI Engineer, or similar roles. - Strategy Consulting: Backgrounds include Management Consultant, Associate, Engagement Manager, or similar roles. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Proficiency in Python and data analysis. - Genuine, demonstrable interest and knowledge of frontier AI and robotics. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to: Segment Manager-Consumer Industries USA In this role, you will support proactive business development in the Consumer Industries segment (this includes warehousing, logistics, and consumer packaged goods environments). The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical knowledge and field sales expertise in collaborative robotics or industrial automation. You will be instrumental in expanding ABB’s footprint in small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as large manufacturers. Role can be based remotely, in the Midwest US. Preferred location of candidates will be near the greater Chicagoland area. Key Responsibilities - Identify and engage with potential end users, system integrators, machine builders, and channel partners to promote ABB’s collaborative robot portfolio in the warehousing, logistics, and food & beverage environments. - Collaborate closely with ABB’s robotics channel partners and territory sales teams to support robotics opportunity development and qualification, and conduct technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations to showcase robotics capabilities and value propositions. - Partner with marketing to implement targeted campaigns, regional events, and webinars to raise awareness of ABB's offerings, and represent ABB at industry trade shows, expos, and automation events to increase ABB Robotics visibility and market share. - Provide voice-of-customer feedback to global product management and engineering teams to support portfolio evolution, and maintain deep knowledge of competitive offerings and industry trends in all robotics.
