Role Description Tiger Analytics is looking for experienced Data Scientists to join our fast-growing advanced analytics consulting firm. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist with a strong background in Recommendation Systems and Machine Learning Engineering (MLE). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and deploying large-scale recommendation solutions, while also leading projects and mentoring teams. This role requires technical depth, hands-on coding, and the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders. - Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end recommendation systems, from data ingestion to model deployment. - Build, fine-tune, and evaluate recommendation algorithms for scalability and performance. - Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate ML solutions into business applications. - Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers. - Work directly with clients and stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new techniques in recommendation systems and AI. - Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data science, replenishment optimization, and supply chain management. - Collaborate, coach, and learn with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists. Qualifications - 8+ years of overall experience in Data Science / Machine Learning. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Recommendation Systems. - Proven expertise in recommendation algorithms and MLE practices. - Strong programming skills in Python - Production level coding and SQL. - Experience working with Databricks, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Demonstrated leadership and project management experience. - Proactive, accountable, and able to take ownership of complex initiatives. - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to understand business partner needs and deliver solutions. - Ability to lead high-stakes analytics engagements and translate complex data findings into "so-what" insights for senior leadership. - Exceptional presentation skills, capable of driving strategic conversations and building consensus across diverse organizational teams. - A proactive hunger to learn emerging technologies and adapt to the evolving healthcare data landscape. • Typically after a year of on the job training, a Data Scientist 3 on the Technical Services team is able to: • Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to implement strategic engineering proof of concepts and contribute to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps • Work with clients and internal partners throughout the organization to identify and execute upon opportunities for demonstrating marketing data to drive business solutions • Identify new solutions that positively impact internal our customers and internal operations • Work with the Research Development and Innovation team to develop cutting edge solutions that drive efficiencies, savings or revenue • Audit existing datasets for accuracy, reliability and consistency • Work with senior team members to identify data models and algorithms to apply to unique client problems • Increase and optimize user experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes using predictive modeling and other advanced analysis techniques • Coordinate with internal and client data engineering teams to implement models and supervise outcomes • Run technical projects including scope, schedule and resources, tracking progress to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time and on budget • Oversee work completed by junior team members to ensure timely delivery and quality of work, guiding them to implement standard methodologies in solution development and client relationships • Support digital analytics implementations with broad understanding of tag management, HTML and JavaScript on websites • Develop applications (visualization, routing data, cleaning data, access to data, interacting with data) for analytics pipelines • Lead and drive projects assigned to completion with attention to detail and high quality • Provide technical and developmental support to senior level mentees • Establish long term relationships with customers in order to gain and cultivate trust (become their Trusted Advisor) • Provide career development suggestions and support to mentees • Assist management in team meetings and team planning exercises • Communicate goals and deadlines to team members • Assist team in meeting monthly KPIs • Assist with team resourcing needs and planning • Assist with hiring new team members • Assess team performance and provide feedback • Other duties as assigned

• Partner with revenue cycle, finance, and operational leaders to drive data-informed decision making across billing, coding, and collections • Analyze large datasets from EHR, billing, claims, and financial systems to identify revenue leakage and optimization opportunities • Develop and deploy predictive models to improve denials management, cash collections, and reimbursement outcomes • Design and implement pilots to test and optimize revenue cycle strategies in real-time environments • Build dashboards and visualizations to monitor KPIs such as AR days, denial rates, and net revenue performance • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for operational and executive stakeholders • Identify trends and patterns related to payer performance, coding accuracy, and claim adjudication • Lead analytics projects that support revenue cycle transformation and process improvement initiatives • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and clinical teams to enhance data quality and reporting capabilities

• Drive end-to-end SEO strategy, covering technical, on-page, content, and conversion optimization. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance our SEO efforts. • Utilize various platforms for analytics & insights to guide content strategy. • Travel to Georgia twice a year for team collaboration and planning.
