Role Description Joining our growing Programme Information Management unit, you will develop practical, innovative methodologies and tools to enhance MAG’s operational efficiency, decision making, and situational awareness across our global portfolio of programmes. You will lead research and development processes to advance the use of Earth Observation (EO) data and drone-based solutions in Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) and Weapon and Ammunition Management (WAM) operational contexts. You will play a key role in partnership development, particularly focused on enriching our theoretical and empirical practices. Qualifications - Proficiency with remote sensing systems and GIS software for data processing, analysis, including machine learning, and visualization. - Proven experience leading on remote sensing projects, including developing operational use cases and standard operating procedures. - Degree in a relevant field. - Strong skills in project management and report writing. - Strong communicator, able to translate complex data into actionable insights. - Ability to build meaningful partnerships to enhance MAG’s practice. - Adaptable and proactive, with willingness and flexibility to travel internationally, including in challenging environments. - Formal training or certification in drone operations. - Knowledge of international standards and best practices for humanitarian mine action and weapons and ammunition management (advantageous). Requirements - Proficiency with remote sensing platforms (satellites, drones) and sensor technologies (optical, radar, LiDAR, multispectral). - Hands-on experience using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine) for data processing, analysis, and visualization. - Familiarity with satellite imagery providers and datasets, including both open-access (e.g., Copernicus/Sentinel, Landsat) and commercial sources (e.g., Maxar, Planet, Airbus). - Proficiency in machine learning techniques for geospatial data analysis, including image classification, feature extraction, and predictive modeling. - Desirable experience with drone data workflows, including flight planning, photogrammetry, and orthomosaic/3D model generation. - Knowledge of safe operational procedures and relevant regulations. • Manage domestic and international credit facilities including funding requests, waterfall distribution and exception requests • Maintain and create new relationships with Capital Markets professional network; support senior management on business presentations and investor relations • Create and enhance streamlined processes of the business including balance sheet assets and increasing • Support and run presentation, analysis and transactional legal documents for new asset backed facilities, asset sale transactions, asset pool credit ratings and securitization transactions. • Support in bank relationships, bank account maintenance, and opening/closing accounts • Report on portfolio performance including identifying and raising greater income and lower risk opportunities, facility pledging and maximized balance sheet efficiency • Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles with Finance colleagues to manage multiple legal entities, money movements and asset allocation strategies • Cross-collaborate with other internal functions to help structure and develop new products and features
