Job Summary The Manager leads a high-performing team responsible for delivering strategic, data-driven media plans that drive revenue growth and maximize yield across Comcast Advertising's portfolio. This role serves as a key partner to Sales, Yield, and cross-functional teams, translating client objectives into scalable, high-impact media solutions. The Manager is accountable for elevating planning quality, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the team executes with speed, accuracy, and a customer-first mindset. This leader operates as both a strategic thought partner and people leader, guiding the team through a dynamic, evolving marketplace while continuously improving planning workflows, tools, and outputs. Job Description Core Responsibilities: - Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior planners and media planners. - Oversee the development of strategic, data-driven media plans aligned to client goals, inventory strategy, and pricing/yield principles. - Partner closely with Sales, Yield, and other internal and external teams to deliver cohesive and competitive proposals. - Lead the team through ongoing transformation in inventory, products, systems, and planning methodologies. - Drive consistency and efficiency across planning workflows, tools, and outputs. - Collaborate to develop best practices across Planning teams. - Partner with senior leadership to define priorities, track outcomes, and drive results. - Set expectations for accountability, prioritization, and quality of work across a fast-paced planning environment. - Work closely with senior manager and partner planning or yield leads on higher-level projects such as new product rollouts, system enhancements, complex pricing analysis, and strategic thought sessions. - Remain available to sales team and resolves operational questions and issues. - Create and analyze work performance standards that ensure adherence to policies and procedures in accordance with overall functional strategy. - Work with leaders to develop and effectively communicate team goals and priorities. - Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. - Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
