Quality Analyst – Junior

• Perform software testing (regression, exploratory, and functional) • Create and execute test cases, recording evidence and reporting results • Identify, log, and track defects (bugs) through to resolution • Assist in creating and maintaining automated tests (preferably using Cypress or Playwright) • Ensure deliveries meet defined quality criteria • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, review, retrospective) • Collaborate with development, product, and other teams to ensure quality • Support test data and environment setup when required • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of software testing concepts and fundamentals
- Familiarity with test types (functional, regression, exploratory)
- Basic knowledge of test automation
- Familiarity with Cypress or Playwright (junior/intermediate level)
- Basic programming logic
- Basic database knowledge (SQL for simple queries)
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, and good organization
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Role Description Data Driven Detroit (D3) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst / Project Lead. This is a full-time, salaried position, with a starting salary of $60,000 per year. This is primarily a remote position, with occasional attendance at in-person meetings or events. Role Description Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for application functional and technical support of assigned applications.
