Litigation Attorney

Kaufman Dolowich LLP

• Work independently and collaboratively to manage all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation • Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, handle oral arguments, and assist in trials in state and federal courts • Handle cases from inception through resolution, ensuring effective case development, risk assessment, and client communication throughout • Attend court appearances, mediations, depositions, and other litigation-related proceedings as required

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive experience handling all aspects of defense litigation matters in hospitality (preferably hotels or managed properties), premises liability, general liability, business/commercial litigation, or a related practice area
  • Trial and arbitration experience preferred
  • Experience handling litigation in both federal and state courts
  • Admitted to practice in Texas
  • Resides in or near the Houston or Dallas metropolitan area and able to attend in-person court appearances and litigation events as needed
