Financial Planning Manager – Ecommerce Logistics & Transform

Role Description As part of the company’s Digital and Ecommerce transformation initiatives, the Financial Planning Manager will: - Collaborate with and provide in-depth data-driven financial analysis to the Transportation, Planning and Allocation, and Ecommerce Operations teams. - Complete an annual operating budget to be reviewed by digital strategy, FP&A, and supply chain leadership. - Manage financial forecasts and actual results of Ecommerce Delivery expenses. - Provide perspective on key performance indicators that impact the business and support operations partners in balancing cost and service. - Assist the Supply Chain Finance team with strategic views and forecasts of merchandise volume flows. - Partner with cross-functional areas to assess, analyze, and deploy transformation initiatives. - Establish comprehensive financial and performance metric reporting for current and near-term performance. - Conduct reviews of performance reports and dashboards, suggesting changes that could add value. - Develop fact-based operationally actionable analysis with a comprehensive understanding of the FP&A function. - Create and maintain SQL code to query Oracle Databases for sales and unit transaction information. - Create and maintain MS Access Database for updating tables, queries, and reporting metrics. - Create and maintain Dashboards for Truck and Small Parcel shipping and handling. - Audit Carrier invoice data for completeness and accuracy, initiating remediation activities as necessary. - Complete adhoc analyses for contract updates or service model changes impacting customer experience or company P&L. - Establish new metrics to evaluate business performance and improve expense forecast accuracy. - Manage accounting operations for $250M of Ecom shipping and handling expense in compliance with US GAAP. - Prepare presentations for various audiences reviewing shipping and handling performance. - Partner with outside consultants and the Procurement organization for contract renewals. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field. - 3 years of experience in financial analysis and logistics or supply chain related occupations. - CLTD certification (Certified Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution). - Experience with MS Excel for building dashboards and performing adhoc analyses. - Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages for data selection and reformatting. - Experience with MS Access, including creating and managing a database. - Ability to interpret complex data sets and identify relationships from disparate data sources. Requirements - Must have experience with MS Excel, SQL, Python, and MS Access. - Strong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation. Benefits - Salary: $138,070 per year. - Telecommuting is permitted. - Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (CT). - Pay Range: USD $81,000.00 - USD $138,070.00 /Yr.
