We deliver it. · Be Accountable and Expect Accountability. · Raise Your Hand or Be Willing to Extend it About the role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer for our client, who can build and own modern, scalable web experiences that support critical consumer payment and onboarding workflows. This role focuses on delivering secure, high-quality user interfaces for customer-facing platforms while partnering closely with product, design, and backend teams. You will be responsible for translating complex business and payment logic into intuitive, performant, and maintainable front-end solutions, while helping establish engineering standards and best practices. Location: - US remote Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain production-grade front-end applications using modern UI frameworks and libraries (Angular preferred). - Own front-end delivery from requirements through production. - Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and QA teams to deliver cohesive solutions. - Convert complex workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences. - Define and uphold front-end architecture, coding standards, and reusable components. - Optimize for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness. - Integrate with RESTful and event-driven APIs. - Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. - Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers. - Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term front-end strategy.
Job Requirements
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 4-5+ years of experience building modern web applications.
- Deep experience with Angular and related ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience utilizing front-end state management patterns and tools like Redux/NgRx.
- Strong understanding of modular design and front-end architecture.
- Experience integrating with backend APIs and authentication flows.
- Solid knowledge of web performance and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with PCI and security-sensitive UI flows.
- Experience building consumer portals or workflow-heavy applications.
- Exposure to shared design systems or micro-frontend architecture.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Cypress preferred).
- Experience implementing accessibility standards and guidelines (like WCAG).
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
