Credit Risk Manager

• Develop and maintain credit risk monitoring frameworks that assess portfolio performance relative to business plans, policy limits, and stress scenarios. • Establish key risk indicators, thresholds, and early warning signals that identify emerging credit risks across evolving underwriting models and changing economic conditions. • Provide credible challenge to 1LOD model development, treasury, credit strategy, and product leaders by using portfolio insights to assess whether performance remains aligned with risk appetite, policy expectations, and business plans. • Partner with Machine Learning, Product, Risk, and Bank leadership teams to evaluate portfolio performance and recommend actions when risk metrics deviate from expectations. • Partner with peers in Model Risk Management and Fair Lending on second line teams. • Prepare and present portfolio risk analyses, monitoring results, and recommendations to senior leadership, governance committees, and other stakeholders. • Design and implement governance processes, reporting routines, and operating mechanisms that support regulatory expectations and effective risk oversight. • Provide independent challenge and oversight of credit policies, underwriting performance, and risk management practices while balancing innovation and prudent risk management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of experience in consumer credit risk management, portfolio analytics, or credit risk oversight.
- Experience analyzing credit performance across the consumer lending lifecycle, including acquisition, underwriting, portfolio management, and repayment outcomes.
- Experience using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical platforms to evaluate portfolio performance and risk trends.
- Experience communicating quantitative analyses and risk assessments to senior business leaders through written reports and presentations
