Role Description SAIC's Business Management organization is seeking an experienced and highly adaptable senior member to support its Commercial Operating Segment. This role sits within SAIC's Solutions, Technology and Enterprise Partnerships (STEP) organization, which serves as the Center of Excellence for alternative acquisition models and commercial contracting across the enterprise. This position can be worked 100% remote for the right candidate. The Commercial Pricing and Business Strategy Senior Principal will be a part of a team of contracts, subcontracts, and pricing professionals, with the primary responsibility of supporting the operational effectiveness of a Commercial practice and business segment within SAIC. The position encompasses: - Establishing, managing, and executing commercial strategies, alliances, and innovative product development. - Executing the development, implementation, and offer of targeted Commercial Product and Service Solution prices and financial evaluation models. - Contributing to SAIC's Revenue Growth and Profitability objectives aligned to the Enterprise IT Modernization campaign. - Enabling SAIC executive leadership to make strategic Go To Market decisions through interpretation of market research. - Setting of commercial list prices and preparing short term and long term Revenue and Profitability projections. Qualifications - Experience developing pricing strategies for emerging technology (e.g., AI, cloud computing). - Experience leading complex and successful Commercial Products and Service pricing activities. - Deep understanding of alternate business models (primarily IT managed and XaaS service offerings). - Financial forecasting and modeling experience. - Working knowledge of federal contract vehicles including GSA MAS, NASA SEWP, and hyperscaler marketplaces. Requirements - Develop new business models and optimize prices of packaged offerings. - Collaborate with Solution Practice teams as financial cost and price strategist. - Develop short term and long term financial business case evaluations. - Perform financial analysis to support ongoing product management efforts. - Drive pricing strategy alignment across various stakeholder organizations. - Support the company's response to Market Research and shape RFPs. - Provide expert support on pricing matters under FAR Part 12 – 15 and GSA schedules. - Design pricing strategies that optimize profitability while remaining competitive. - Experience developing Commercial Product and Services prices throughout the entire GTM lifecycle. - Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. - Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. - Periodic travel to support other SAIC and customer locations. Reporting to the Director of Solutions, you will research market needs, evaluate new product opportunities, define product goals and value, and guide products from initial concept through early development and launch.
