Role Description The Regional Account Manager has responsibility for revenue growth in the defined geographic territory based on sales of aftermarket parts; equipment modernization programs (EMP), service contracts, and New Equipment Sales. Strategic territory management is required to grow sales revenue, increase market share and convert competitor installations. Responsibilities - Sales Strategy and Management: Gain market share in new and existing accounts along with expanding relationships and growing existing core aftermarket accounts. - Client Relationship Management: Gather and maintain information about the customers, prospects and equipment within the territory of the company CRM system including any required tasks as assigned. - Cost Calculations: Prepare cost calculations and formal offers for products in accordance with TC’s feedback and regional budgets. - Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as project management, inside sales, engineering, TC and other stakeholders. - Sales Process Optimization: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies. - Reporting and Forecasting: Provide weekly activity reports, weekly itineraries, prepare and achieve regular territory forecasts. - Contract Negotiation: Negotiate with clients to secure sales. - Specific Tasks: - Setting sales goals, developing sales plans, and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth. - Maintain an accurate cost calculation / price database with the support of purchasing, external suppliers, and service teams as necessary. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. - Effectively communicate with inside sales, engineering, applications, service technicians, and other personnel in your daily and long-term strategic plan to grow the business. - Working closely with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives. - Identifying opportunities to improve sales processes, methods, and approaches. - Promote other Norican lines of business whenever feasible. - On-time submittal of expense reports. - Providing accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management. Qualifications - A bachelor’s degree is preferred. - Three years of Outside Industrial Sales experience. Requirements - Advanced Microsoft Office skills. - CRM Software experience. - Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred. - Reading AutoCAD drawings. - Valid Passport and Driver’s License in good standing. - Familiarity with Blast Equipment and its operation or equivalent mechanical experience.
