Role Description Our client is building a next-generation marketplace platform that helps investors and businesses evaluate, score, and discover intellectual property opportunities. The current product operates on a combination of no-code tools and workflows, and the team is now replatforming to a custom-built application designed for scale, security, and long-term growth. We are looking for a Tech Lead to help drive this transition, working closely with product leadership and a small engineering team to deliver a production-ready platform. This role combines hands-on software development, technical leadership, architecture decisions, and AI-powered product development in a fast-moving environment with clear business goals and delivery milestones. - Lead the architecture and technical implementation of a modern full-stack platform built with Python, Next.js, and PostgreSQL. - Guide the migration from existing no-code tools and workflows into scalable application services. - Develop and maintain production-grade backend and frontend systems. - Collaborate closely with product leadership to evaluate trade-offs, prioritize work, and deliver against project milestones. - Build and integrate AI-powered workflows, including document processing, scoring systems, and LLM-powered features. - Establish engineering best practices around testing, observability, deployment, and code quality. - Design secure and scalable systems with auditability, access controls, and long-term maintainability in mind. - Mentor and support other engineers while remaining actively involved in implementation. Qualifications - 8+ years of software engineering experience. - 3+ years leading technical delivery for production systems. - Strong experience building applications with Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks). - Strong experience with React and Next.js. - Deep understanding of API design, data modeling, and backend architecture. - Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL in production environments. - Experience building and integrating AI/LLM-powered features into customer-facing products. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and modern deployment practices. - Experience making architectural decisions while remaining hands-on in implementation. - Advanced English required. - Familiarity with AI tools. Requirements - Experience migrating systems from no-code or low-code platforms. - Marketplace, fintech, or document-heavy product experience. - Experience with compliance-oriented systems and security best practices. - Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms. - Familiarity with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and managed cloud services.
