Overview The Manager of Digital Accounting at Crocs, Inc. leads the Digital accounting function, owning accurate and timely accounting and reporting for Crocs’ Digital channel in accordance with US GAAP and company policies. This role manages and develops a team, serves as the key business partner to Digital Operations, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Systems, and drives standardization, process improvement, and controls across complex, high-volume digital sales, payments, and marketplace activities. What You'll Do - Manage the Digital accounting team’s priorities and execution; own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for assigned digital workstreams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-controlled results. - Oversee journal entries and account reconciliations, including review/approval, escalation management, and coaching to ensure quality, timeliness, and consistent application of accounting policies. - Manage and develop the team by hiring, onboarding, setting clear goals, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Lead root-cause analysis for variances and unusual transactions; coordinate cross-functional resolution, communicate key drivers to stakeholders, and implement preventive controls where needed. - Review reconciliations for digital payment processors and settlements, including fees, chargebacks, and timing differences. - Analyze refunds, returns, cancellations, discounts, and other digital adjustments to ensure appropriate accounting and clear variance explanations. - Own marketplace transactions by validating partner statements, commissions, and settlement activity and coordinating issue resolution with internal teams and third parties. - Drive process improvement and transformation by defining and executing the Digital accounting process improvement roadmap (standardization, automation, and controls), partnering with Finance Systems and Digital stakeholders to prioritize and implement initiatives. - Maintain and strengthen the control environment by ensuring adherence to company policies, owning SOX controls (documentation, walkthroughs, testing, and remediation), and enhancing process documentation and control design. - Serve as the primary audit and SME contact for Digital accounting, supporting internal and external audits with clear documentation, timely high-quality responses, and closure of follow-up actions. - Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Finance Systems, MDM and other business partners to support accurate and timely accounting and reporting. What You'll Bring to the Table - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (including month-end close ownership), with 2+ years of people leadership (or equivalent demonstrated team leadership) - Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, coach and develop talent, and communicate clearly with partners while handling sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls - Experience with SAP and Blackline - Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large, high-volume datasets; experience improving processes/controls and partnering with Finance Systems - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence partners, and lead change in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Knowledge and/or exposure to digital platforms (e.g. Adyen, Rithum, Sales Force Commerce Cloud, etc.) and digital payment methods (credit cards, PayPal, Google pay, etc.). - Knowledge and/or awareness of global marketplaces (e.g. TikTok, Amazon, Zalando, Rakuten, etc.), and their integration with Accounting and Financial reporting. Role Description The Director of Revenue Accounting will serve as a leader and strategic partner within the accounting organization, with direct oversight of the end-to-end revenue recognition and other patient accounting processes for Aspen Dental. This role is responsible for improving, maintaining, and supporting net revenue recognition policies and accuracy. The Director will set the strategic direction for revenue accounting operations, establish and enforce internal controls, auditing/validation, and serve as a key liaison between Revenue Cycle Management, IT/Product, FP&A, Analytics, and external auditors. The position requires an individual who has a proficient understanding of revenue recognition in accordance with company and accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, CECL/ASC 310). The Director must be data-driven and be able to clearly articulate the methods applied to executives, operations, and doctors.
