Job Description

Vendor Risk Management Analyst

GoDaddy

Role Description The Vendor Risk Management (VRM) Analyst assists with the daily activities of GoDaddy’s third-party risk programme within the Data Governance & Operations (DGO) team. Partnering closely with the VRM Manager, this position helps oversee vendor relationships in a responsible and effective manner. It manages intake procedures, supports reviews with business owners and colleagues, keeps thorough records, and promotes clear communication among teams. You’ll contribute significantly to maintaining the programme’s smooth operation by introducing structure, organisation, and consistency to an already well-ordered environment. We’re looking for someone who is diligent, organised, and dependable, and who takes pride in enabling well-run operations. You’ll engage with team members from various functions and support a comprehensive risk management framework while advancing your expertise in vendor risk and governance. If you enjoy working with processes, aiding participants, and steadily refining work methods, this is a great opportunity to grow in a dynamic in-house setting! What you'll get to do... - Manage intake requests for initiating partnerships with vendors, gather required documentation, and start assessments in the VRM system of record. - Monitor the progress of ongoing assessments and check in with company leaders and reviewers to ensure engagements advance through the workflow. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records throughout the engagement lifecycle, including renewals and offboarding. - Serve as a first point of contact for business owners navigating the VRM process, answering questions and explaining requirements in plain language. - Assist business owners with their duties in the intake and assessment workflow, raising issues or exceptions when necessary. - Inform subject matter experts in Information Security, Privacy, and Legal about new vendor engagements that need their assessment. - Track outstanding reviews and send follow-up reminders; bring up delays to the VRM Manager. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in running vendor risk, handling third-party risk, compliance operations, or a similar administrative or operational position. - Familiarity with VRM or GRC concepts and common frameworks such as SIG, CAIQ, NIST, and SOC 2 is important. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing a high volume of concurrent requests without dropping the ball. - Clear, professional communication and collaboration skills — you’ll regularly interact with company founders, outside vendors, and cross-functional collaborators. - Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with GRC or VRM platforms (e.g., OneTrust, ServiceNow) a plus. - Comfortable working in a distributed environment across time zones. Requirements - Exposure to data privacy concepts and how they intersect with vendor due diligence (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). - Experience with third-party incident notification workflows. - Familiarity with AI or emerging technology vendor considerations. Benefits - Paid time off. - Retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes). - Bonus/incentive eligibility. - Equity grants. - Participation in our employee stock purchase plan. - Competitive health benefits. - Other family-friendly benefits including parental leave.

Role Description You’ve built deep expertise in insurance coverage, policy wording, product development, or regulatory compliance, and produced work that drives real decisions. Now that expertise has a new application: shaping how frontier AI models reason through complex insurance problems. - Design realistic policy, coverage, and compliance tasks: policy interpretation, endorsement analysis, coverage determinations, form reviews, and regulatory compliance assessments without clean answers. - Write evaluation rubrics that reflect how experienced coverage and compliance professionals reason through policy language, exclusions, endorsements, regulatory requirements, and filing standards. - Review AI-generated coverage analyses, policy interpretations, compliance assessments, and form recommendations, identifying where models misread policy language, overlook endorsements, or propose non-compliant solutions. - Build reference coverage opinions, policy review materials, and compliance frameworks that set the benchmark models for testing. - Communicate coverage determinations, compliance assessments, and rationale clearly in writing. Qualifications - 5–8+ years in insurance coverage, policy wording, product development, forms management, or regulatory compliance. - You’ve drafted, reviewed, interpreted, or approved policy language, endorsements, forms, or regulatory filings that had to withstand legal, regulatory, or commercial scrutiny. - CPCU, ARM, JD, ACII / FCII, or equivalent (preferred, not required). - You can explain why a policy responds — or does not respond — clearly enough to teach the reasoning, not just the outcome. Benefits - $80–$200 per hour, aligned with expertise, scope, and impact; exceptional or highly specialised expertise can go higher. - Ongoing engagements are typically structured as a monthly retainer rather than hourly billing. Role Description You've built financial statements that hold up under audit and regulator scrutiny — now define that bar for AI. You've owned external reporting cycles, prepared consolidated statements, and made disclosure judgements that hold up under scrutiny. Now that expertise has a new application: shaping how frontier AI models reason through financial reporting the way an experienced practitioner does. What You'll Do - Design realistic financial statement and disclosure tasks grounded in real reporting cycles - Write evaluation rubrics that pin down correct GAAP / IFRS presentation, classification, and disclosure — including the judgement about what gets disclosed and how - Review AI-generated statements, consolidations, and note disclosures for compliance, completeness, and internal consistency - Build reference statement sets and disclosure checklists that serve as the standard for evaluation - Identify output that is technically passable but non-compliant or under-disclosed, and explain the gap precisely Qualifications - 5–8+ years in external / SEC reporting, financial reporting, or audit with a strong reporting focus - You know a full set of statements and the disclosure requirement behind every line - CPA, ACA / ACCA, or equivalent (preferred, not required) - Deep in US GAAP or IFRS — ideally fluent in both Benefits - Fully remote, part-time and flexible - Work is scoped by project and ranges from short engagements to ongoing collaborations, structured as a contract or a monthly retainer Compensation $80–$200 per hour, aligned with expertise, scope, and impact; exceptional or highly specialised expertise can go higher. Ongoing engagements are typically structured as a monthly retainer rather than hourly billing.
