The Transfer Solutions group is responsible for designing, building, and operating the technology that powers Mastercard's next-generation payment applications-domestic, Cross-Border, and Bill Payments. We are seeking a Director, Technical Program Manager, to join our Dublin team, focusing on building and operating our Cross-Border payments platform, specifically in the Treasury Management domain. This is an exciting engineering leadership role working with a global team passionate about the solutions we deliver to our customers. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on technical program management professional to join our team and help us build towards the future. As a Director level TPM, you will be driving the Engineering build of Treasury Management solutions to centralise cash, payments, and FX risk management into a single platform to support scalable growth of Mastercard's business.This role is multi-faceted - you will get to dive deep into the tech stack, the integration patterns, the organizational capabilities, and the company wide assets that can be leveraged to provide technical solutions to customer problems. You will be responsible for planning, oversight and E2E delivery of the work of globally distributed Engineering teams, including prioritisation, management of dependencies, as well as being hands-on supporting the teams in removal of impediments. You will also be working across stakeholders (Treasury, Finance, Product) and vendors to ensure alignment, manage change and risk, and escalate as needed. As well as having direct TPM responsibility of a number of teams, you will also manage a small group of other TPMs working on the same portfolio. ALL ABOUT YOU• Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy• Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs in agile delivery models (scrum, Kanban, etc.) - Demonstrated experience in leading discussions (planning, technical etc.) and not just facilitating. • Experience with executing projects from start to finish, with requirement gathering, project planning, and providing updates to management. - Knowledge of infrastructure and modern cloud architecture. • Enjoys diving deep to understand of the platforms capabilities and underlying technologies.• Proven track record of data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams - Experienced in working in a fast-paced software development environment, working across multiple dependency teams and having sufficient technical knowledge to understand and represent the team. - Experienced working with vendors and planning alignment and ensuring high quality deliveries. • Can debate the delivery strategy with business teams, architects, engineers, and designers• Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.• Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization. - Previous experience in people management preferable. • BS in engineering, computer science, project management or related discipline.
