Appian Developer
AVUM
• Collaborating with stakeholders on system architecture and functional requirements • Utilizing Appian development expertise to build scalable applications • Integrating with systems for data flow and interoperability • Customizing the Appian platform for government acquisition management • Conducting gap/comparative analysis and thorough testing of solutions • Collaborating with QA teams for deliverable quality • Configuring application solutions and management reports • Creating technical documentation and providing end-user training • Staying updated on Appian features and identifying optimization opportunities
Job Requirements
- Appian Associate Developer or higher certification
- DoD Secret clearance preferred; U.S. citizenship required
- 4+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of Appian development experience
- Proficiency in Appian development concepts including SAIL, process modeling, data modeling, and integrations
- Experience with Appian forms, process models, interface design, rules & expressions, records, data types, and SQL queries
- Experience deploying applications in the Appian platform
- Experience with building Appian plug-ins leveraging APIs and Smart Services
- Deep knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (i.e., Agile Scrum and DevSecOps)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of online Security aspects including LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, SAML, and Certificates
- Proficient with Java/JEE, SQL, REST, APIs, and Web Services
- Experience with external integrations (i.e., Web service, ESB, HTTPS, SFTP, etc.)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
