Job Description

Data Integration Analyst

Bluesight

• Consult with customers on how to properly extract, transform, and load their data into the Bluesight platform • Validate, reconcile, and analyze data input from disparate systems to ensure data integrity using command line tools and scripts • Clearly communicate data findings and serve as a point person for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues • Document processes, edge cases, and best practices to support internal knowledge sharing • Collaborate cross-functionally with the implementation, product, and engineering team to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance data pipelines. • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, experience in the healthcare industry a plus
  • Experience with AWS services like AWS Glue, Step functions, Lambdas, etc.
  • Experience with queries on relational databases (MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle) or non-relational databases (MongoDB).
  • Ability to understand, and debug, existing codebases across multiple languages or frameworks (Python, Pyspark, Scala, Ruby etc)
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, and data validation.
  • Proficiency operating from the command line (e.g. bash, zsh, powershell) to interact with files, data, execute scripts and command-line tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills - written and verbal - that demonstrate an ability to work well on a team and with both technical and non-technical customer contacts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and meet goals and deadlines
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated history of success, multiple examples of taking initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
