Job Description
Intern – Industrial Engineer
CoLogix Analytics
• Data gathering, validation and analysis. • Assist with the creation of MOPs (Method of Procedures), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures). • Replicate MOPs, SOPs, EOPs across the platform where similar equipment exists. • Work with existing Facility Engineers to update equipment records. • Collaborate with Compliance team members who will provide direction, feedback, and mentorship throughout the internship.
Job Requirements
- Successful candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program from an accredited college / university as a rising junior / senior.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology and Management or similar engineering degree.
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a willingness to ask questions and take guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with existing written documentation and making updates based on provided standards.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while being part of a collaborative team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiasm for gaining practical, real-world experience in data center environments.
- Ability to travel several times during the internship to one of our markets.
- Nice to have qualifications:
- Reside in one of Cologix data center markets
- Interest in data center environments and their supporting infrastructure
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution and HVAC systems
- Exposure to popular CRM platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.
