Role Description We have an exciting new role for an AI Solutions Lead - IP Legal / Patent Drafting to help shape and scale PatSnap’s AI-powered patent drafting solution. We're looking for someone with hands-on patent drafting experience who is interested in applying that expertise in a broader capacity. You may be a Patent Attorney, Patent Agent, or trainee attorney who enjoys the profession but is curious about where technology is taking it and wants to play a more active role in shaping the tools used by IP professionals. - Become one of the key people helping shape PatSnap's patent drafting solution. - Work closely with customers to understand their workflows, demonstrate the product, gather feedback, and ensure we're solving genuine problems for patent professionals. - Support strategic customer opportunities alongside Sales and Customer Success teams. - Participate in customer meetings, workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and evaluation projects. - Partner with Product Managers and Engineers, bringing practical patent drafting experience into the product development process. - Identify workflow improvements, validate new capabilities, and help prioritize future enhancements. Qualifications - Hands-on experience drafting patent applications, ideally as a European Patent Attorney, trainee Patent Attorney, Patent Agent, or similar IP professional. - Strong understanding of patent drafting, prosecution, and wider IP workflows. - A genuine interest in technology and curiosity about how AI can improve the way patent professionals work. - Enjoys engaging with customers and is comfortable demonstrating solutions. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility with patent attorneys, IP teams, and innovation leaders. - Comfortable delivering product demonstrations and leading customer discussions. - A commercial mindset with the ability to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities to create value. - Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams. - An interest in helping shape products, not just using them. Requirements - Experience working with SaaS, LegalTech, IPTech, or AI-powered software products. - Exposure to product management, product ownership, or workflow design. - Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, workflow automation, or emerging AI technologies. - Experience supporting enterprise customers, software implementations, or complex B2B workflows. Role Description Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements, including: - Development agreements - Publishing agreements - Licensing agreements - Talent/voice-actor agreements - Influencer agreements - Distribution agreements - Vendor agreements Oversee the protection and enforcement of our IP portfolio: - Trademarks - Copyrights - Trade secrets Advise on IP clearance for: - In-game content - Titles - Marketing materials Act as a trusted advisor to game studios and product teams, reviewing: - Features - Community moderation policies - Monetization strategies from inception to launch Maintain and update: - End User License Agreements (EULAs) - Terms of Service - Privacy Policies Manage: - Pre-litigation disputes - DMCA takedowns - Coordinate with other counsels when necessary Qualifications - Meaningful experience supporting legal teams, either in-house or at a law firm - Strong understanding of legal department functions and best practices - Exceptional organizational and project management skills - Familiarity with legal technology platforms (e.g., Ironclad, Jira, etc.) - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English - Strong interpersonal abilities - Business acumen, pragmatism, and resourcefulness - Curiosity, excellence, and positivity - Great work ethics and professionalism

• Manage moderately complex civil litigation for American Family and our insureds, following established guidelines and the highest ethical standards • Analyze cases, strategize for optimal outcomes, and pursue settlements when appropriate • Lead discovery, draft pleadings and briefs, and conduct research to support your litigation strategy • Represent clients in trials, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences • Advocate for our clients in state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, and regulatory hearings • Stay ahead of legal trends and ensure our policies remain strong and enforceable
