Role Description We are looking for a Director of Finance to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the President (with a dotted line to the CEO), this role is both strategic and hands-on: you will own Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Tax, and Cash Management, while serving as a trusted strategic advisor to the business. You will be responsible for building the financial operational foundation that supports our global growth, ensuring that transparency and a startup mindset remain at the heart of our financial operations. Qualifications - 7+ years in finance leadership, ideally within B2B SaaS, open-source, or high-growth tech environments. - Deep knowledge of US GAAP and experience building financial reporting systems from the ground up. - Proven track record in FP&A, cash forecasting, and using data to improve financial performance. - Experience in remote-first, globally distributed environments. - Experience with software like QuickBooks, Carta, HubSpot, and other financial, tax, and sales/marketing tools. Requirements - Clear communication in decision-making and reporting. - A bias toward action and the ability to balance long-term strategy with "hands-on" tactical execution. - Ability to act as a bridge between finance, engineering, and sales teams. Your Key Responsibilities - Accounting & Controls - Lead full-cycle accounting in close collaboration with the Europe-based Accounting Manager. - Ensure all financial reporting aligns with US GAAP standards. - Own the preparation and successful execution of the company’s first external financial audit. - Build and improve financial controls, processes, and documentation to support a scalable and audit-ready finance function. - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Build and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial models, forecasts, and budgets. - Define and track key SaaS metrics (KPIs), translating complex data into actionable recommendations for the leadership team. - Provide strategic insights to support product growth and regional expansion. - Cash Flow & Treasury - Monitor and manage working capital and global cash flow. - Tax compliance - Partner with external CPA firms to manage all filings and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. - Collaborate with the President on international tax matters and optimization. - Sales & Marketing Financial Partnership - Partner with Sales and Marketing to evaluate the financial logic, efficiency, and expected returns of commercial initiatives, budgets, and spending decisions. • Reporting to the SVP Finance, ECS (Experian Consumer Services) • Deliver financial insight and decision support for a growth-focused consumer finance technology business • Leading planning, forecasting, and performance management for the consolidated ECS portfolio • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights • Partner with finance leaders across operating units and regional and global FP&A teams • Contribute to financial strategy, assess risks and opportunities, and help build the FP&A organization • Drive forecasting, reporting, and business review processes to deliver accurate insights • Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities and translate them into actionable insights for ECS leadership • Lead, coach, and develop an FP&A team, including two direct reports and extended global finance partners

• Own accounting for a registered investment fund entity within a dual-listed public company • Work directly with finance leadership in a lean, high-accountability environment • Develop expertise in IFRS, financial instruments, IFRS 9/ECL, and fund accounting • Gain exposure to lending, payments, wealth, treasury, and public-company reporting • Support consolidations across multiple entities and business lines • Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and AI-enabled workflows • Mentor one direct report while developing your own leadership capabilities

• Manage and supervise accounting functions for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards. • Perform month-end closing, ensures accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements under TFRS. • Record + Review journal entries and account analysis for all balance sheet accounts, P&L including Balance sheet account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation and revenue recognition. • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments. • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including the resolution of discrepancies. • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. • Monitor and ensure all taxes are prepared and submitted to the revenue department within timeline. • Prepare and keep record of withholding tax documents and payment vouchers. • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and other departments on accounting issues. • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses. • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual audits and reviews. • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. • Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. • Calculate and process payments for overtime, bonuses, and other variable compensation. • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll system. • Update and verify employee information, including tax withholding, direct deposit, and personal details.
