• Own accounting for a registered investment fund entity within a dual-listed public company • Work directly with finance leadership in a lean, high-accountability environment • Develop expertise in IFRS, financial instruments, IFRS 9/ECL, and fund accounting • Gain exposure to lending, payments, wealth, treasury, and public-company reporting • Support consolidations across multiple entities and business lines • Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and AI-enabled workflows • Mentor one direct report while developing your own leadership capabilities
Job Requirements
- CPA designation completed or in final stages
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 or national-firm public practice experience required
- Strong IFRS and financial reporting foundation
- Experience with financial instruments, IFRS 9, and ECL concepts
- Full-cycle accounting experience including close, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support
- Wealth management, asset management, or investment fund accounting experience is a strong asset
- Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Genuine interest in process improvement, automation, and scalable finance operations
