Job Description

Assistant Finance Manager

Digital Alchemy

• Manage and supervise accounting functions for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards. • Perform month-end closing, ensures accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements under TFRS. • Record + Review journal entries and account analysis for all balance sheet accounts, P&L including Balance sheet account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation and revenue recognition. • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments. • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including the resolution of discrepancies. • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. • Monitor and ensure all taxes are prepared and submitted to the revenue department within timeline. • Prepare and keep record of withholding tax documents and payment vouchers. • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and other departments on accounting issues. • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses. • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual audits and reviews. • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. • Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. • Calculate and process payments for overtime, bonuses, and other variable compensation. • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll system. • Update and verify employee information, including tax withholding, direct deposit, and personal details.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of managing accounting functions across multiple locations.
  • Strong expertise in accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
