Product Security Engineer – Blockchain Security

• Conduct end-to-end security assessments across blockchain protocols, smart contracts, cryptographic systems, and infrastructure. • Identify real-world vulnerabilities through manual review, adversarial testing, and proof-of-concept exploit development. • Design and execute security testing strategies for protocol components, cross-chain bridges, and distributed systems. • Lead threat modeling exercises and security architecture reviews. • Define and enforce security gates throughout the software development lifecycle. • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prioritize and remediate security risks. • Build and improve security tooling, fuzzing frameworks, and CI/CD security automation. • Research emerging Web3 attack vectors and proactively mitigate potential threats.
Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in vulnerability discovery and security testing across blockchain systems.
- Proven ability to identify real vulnerabilities beyond automated scanning tools.
- Experience performing threat modeling and security architecture reviews.
- Deep understanding of blockchain security, smart contracts, nodes, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience assessing cryptographic protocols, trust models, or cross-chain infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of applied cryptography and modern security principles.
- Ability to audit and review Rust and/or Java codebases.
- Understanding of memory safety, secret management, and secure software development practices.
- Experience developing fuzzing infrastructure or advanced security testing frameworks.
- Experience with static analysis, dynamic analysis, and automated security tooling.
- Background in consensus-layer security or blockchain protocol development.
- Experience auditing cross-chain bridges.
- Knowledge of threshold signature systems, multisig architectures, and oracle security.
- Experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into security review processes.
