• Own the design and implementation of new on-chain primitives across both Ethereum and Solana, including staking flows, validator orchestration, vault strategies, exit and redemption mechanisms, and integrations with institutional custody. • Drive the audit lifecycle end to end: scoping, engaging audit firms, triaging findings, implementing remediations, and shepherding code to mainnet deployment. • Set and enforce the engineering bar within your team: testing standards, review processes, deployment runbooks, incident response, and on-call rotations for live contracts. • Partner with product and engineering leadership to translate enterprise-grade requirements — custody, compliance, settlement, operational controls — into on-chain designs that hold up to scrutiny from bank-grade counterparties. • Mentor smart contract engineers on your team and contribute to hiring, code review culture, and career development across the broader smart contract function. • Represent Galaxy's on-chain work externally where appropriate: with auditors, institutional clients, governance forums, and the broader Ethereum and Solana ecosystems. • Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes. • Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.

• Lead the protocol teams • Manage the leads of the validators, Solana, and Chainlink teams. Develop them as technical leaders and hold the bar for the engineers beneath them. • Provide protocol-level technical guidance to the teams, not just escalation management but genuine depth that helps them work through hard problems faster. • Set a consistent operating rhythm across the three teams: planning, reviews, incident response, and continuous improvement. • Own headcount health, retention and performance within your scope. Raise issues early and don't let team problems compound. • Own protocol strategy • Develop and maintain a forward-looking view across the protocols the business participates in. Understand where each protocol is heading technically, what that means for our infrastructure and services and how it maps to business opportunity. • Be the connective tissue between protocol evolution (upgrades, forks, new mechanisms) and the engineering teams that have to respond to it. • Advise the Head of Blockchain Engineering and broader leadership on protocol-level risk, opportunity, and emerging areas worth pursuing. • Identify where emerging protocol developments represent material opportunities or threats for the business. Examples would be new L1s, staking mechanisms, oracle integrations, cross-chain primitives etc. • Hold the operational picture across the three teams: who is on what, what is at risk, what is blocked, what is shipping. • Make staffing and sequencing calls within your scope. Work with the Head of Blockchain Engineering and hiring to plan ahead. • Run the cadences and rituals that keep the function coherent without adding bureaucratic overhead. • Coordinate across DIS, client-facing teams, and engagement leads to ensure the protocol function is pointed at the highest-leverage work. • Step into client conversations where protocol expertise at leadership level is needed, supplying technical depth, not just seniority. • Represent the protocol function in commercial discussions, scoping conversations and delivery reviews when protocol capability is at the core of what's being sold or delivered. • Translate protocol complexity into clarity for non-technical stakeholders internally and externally.

• Oversee a specialized SRE team focused on the design, deployment, and maintenance of automation toolsets as well as the systems they interact with. • Establish and enforce standards for IaC to ensure consistent, repeatable, and secure deployments across an entire infrastructure ecosystem. Strong proficiency in Terraform is required. • Lead the strategy for automated configuration and state management, ensuring Ansible playbooks and Packer image pipelines are optimized for both Windows, Linux, and ESXi Platforms. • Manage the monitoring and health of the automation platforms themselves. Implement SLIs/SLOs to ensure the 'tools that build the servers' are highly available and performant. • Drive the automated lifecycle of both physical and virtual assets, from initial template creation/deployment to automated patching, scaling, and decommissioning. • Lead the development of custom scripts and internal providers (Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash) to provide better insights and tooling for our systems. • Outside of the automation team you will need to be able to collaborate and foster workflows alongside the rest of the Datacenter team and be able to facilitate needs for the team as a whole. • Analyze system behavior and resource utilization in virtual environments to optimize the performance of automated deployments. • Provide technical guidance and career mentorship to SREs, fostering a culture of 'automate-first' and continuous improvement.

• Lead end-to-end coordination of pre-construction activities across cost, schedule, design, and technical workstreams • Serve as the central point of integration across PMO, procurement, finance, safety, security, operations, and construction teams • Manage project controls and execution workflows, including POs, invoice review/approval, budget tracking, and reporting • Lead project meetings, drive action tracking, and ensure accountability across all stakeholders • Develop RFPs/RFQs, manage bid processes, perform bid leveling, and support vendor selection (A/E firms, GCs, Cx agents, and key vendors) • Lead OFCI equipment planning and buyout in partnership with procurement and legal, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, and delivery strategy • Oversee and manage third-party consultants (cost estimating, benchmarking, scheduling), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across all deliverables • Drive cost benchmarking, estimating, and value engineering efforts to ensure projects meet budget targets. Leverage data and benchmarking to improve cost and schedule predictability across projects • Support development of integrated project schedules, including phasing, sequencing, and critical path alignment • Ensure projects are fully coordinated and ready for transition into construction, with scope completeness and minimal downstream risk • Drive standardization of pre-construction processes, tools, and deliverables, enabling consistency across projects • Capture lessons learned and support development of scalable delivery models for future campuses
