The AHEAD Senior Pre-Sales Engineer-Network, will be focused on the core tenets of Network and Network Security related solutions for AHEAD prospects and customers including a broad range of technologies. As a member of our Specialty Solutions Engineering team, you will be considered an organizational thought leader for this marketplace. Pre-sales experience is a key component of this role. You will work in partnership with multiple sales representatives to help build a cohesive account strategy for each existing and prospective client. As part of this strategy, you will help sales representatives identify potential technologies and vendors to partner within a given account and assist in driving this strategy throughout a given campaign. Time management and prioritization are essential attributes to being successful. Your goal is to evolve into the technical thought leader for each of your clients. In this capacity, you will work to define strategy, compare alternative approaches, and build key relationships, as well as size and configure products. Positioning and leveraging subject matter experts and inside consultants is a necessity to scale your effectiveness within accounts. AHEAD is actively recruiting for this role and is looking for candidates who consider themselves as a “Next Generation Network Architect.” A core tenet and base requirement for this position is deep understanding of Campus wired and wireless technologies. Understanding and mastery of other areas like Datacenter and cloud networking technologies are a plus. Outside of this core tenet, our expectation is to attract, recruit and attain resources who have a desire to focus not only on traditional on-premise solutions, but also to be looking to career, technology and skill advancement by being actively willing to demonstrate skills and ability to learn new technologies including multiple SDN solutions, network security, load balancing, edge / acceleration, and cloud technologies. Experience or eagerness to learn about and with network and system / access design with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or other cloud services is a key requirement. Roles & Responsibilities: - Participation, Leadership and Coordination of the AHEAD virtual team for Network Infrastructure - You will also be responsible for working with the AHEAD partner management team and directly with selected vendors to maintain vendor technical and sales relationships - As a Network Specialist you are a thought leader within the Engineering organization, responsible for designing, architecting, and, at times, consulting for Ahead clients - Your goal as a Network Lead should be to build skills, relationships, and industry credibility across many segments to drive product, services and consulting sales - Support the sales teams during engagements by providing advice and solutions or proposals optimized to meet customer technical and business requirements - Develops relationships with the account managers, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives and engages and leverages team specialist resources as appropriate - Strategizes and executes technical sales calls - Completes required pre-sales documentation (configurations, pricing, services, presentations, justifications etc.) quickly and accurately - Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, decision making process and funding - Presents and markets the design and value of proposed Ahead solutions and business justification to customers, prospects and Ahead management - Participates in mentorship of entry-level team members - Possesses strong, detailed product / technology / industry knowledge. Role Description We are looking for a mission-driven Registered Nurse to join our team as the RN Supervisor, Pre-Enrollment for Southern California. This is a centralized clinical supervisory role supporting Enrollment RNs across all four Southern California PACE sites. The RN Supervisor serves as the operational and clinical execution layer between frontline Enrollment RNs and the RN Clinical Manager. The RN Supervisor serves as the first clinical filter for Level 2 cases, owns day-to-day enrollment case operations, enforces SOPs, and ensures documentation quality, workflow consistency, and regulatory readiness across sites. This role is critical to scaling Pre-Enrollment operations safely and compliantly as Habitat Health expands to West Covina and San Leandro in January 2027. Core Responsibilities & Expectations for the Role - Own daily review of the RN tracker, Salesforce enrollment pipeline, and Epic work queues to ensure alignment across systems. - Identify stalled cases, missing documentation, incomplete assessments, or scheduling gaps and return cases to Enrollment RNs with clear, time-bound next steps. - Ensure all case status updates are reflected consistently across Epic, Salesforce, and the RN tracker. - Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day enrollment case questions from Enrollment RNs and Intake staff. - Monitor completed, upcoming, canceled, and rescheduled Enrollment RN home visits across all Southern California sites. - Track 30-day forward-looking visit capacity to anticipate bottlenecks and staffing constraints. - Identify no-show trends and recommend scheduling or workflow adjustments. - Track applicants by enrollment readiness category (signed, DHCS-approved, pending assessment, pending state response) and identify cases at risk of missing the monthly DHCS cutoff. - Escalate at-risk cases to the RN Clinical Manager with specific mitigation recommendations. - Serve as the central operational reviewer for all ILOC submissions prior to DHCS submission; coordinate ILOC email workflows and submission sequencing. - Catch documentation discrepancies prior to state submission and manage resubmissions; enforce 24-hour ILOC turnaround standards and maintain Epic audit trails. - Receive and triage all potential Level 2 case flags from Enrollment RNs across SAC, SLA, West Covina, and San Leandro; confirm escalation criteria and ensure documentation completeness prior to escalation to RN Clinical Manager. - Own end-to-end Health & Safety (H&S) Committee operations for Southern California sites, including case intake and triage, documentation gap review, committee packet assembly, meeting facilitation, real-time Epic documentation, and outcome communication and compliance follow-up. - Author concise clinical summaries aligned with Medical Director communication standards; ensure all H&S determinations comply with 42 CFR §460.150(b)(1) and §460.152(b) requirements. - Enforce consistent application of all Pre-Enrollment SOPs across Southern California sites; deliver training content developed by the Director and Clinical RN Trainer to frontline Enrollment RNs. - Maintain training logs and competency documentation; identify recurring errors or training gaps and escalate to RN Clinical Manager. - Coordinate Enrollment RN schedules and home visit assignments; monitor documentation quality, timeliness, and completion rates. - Collaborate with Intake, Data Ops / Health Plan teams, and Clinical Operations to resolve workflow gaps. - Maintain full enrollment operations during short-term leadership absences, ensuring no disruption to case flow, DHCS submissions, or H&S determinations. - Participate in all PACE Audits by DHCS and CMS. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Passion for delivering amazing coordinated care to frail elders and disabled older adults. - Active and unrestricted RN License in the state of California, in good standing. - Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; PACE, geriatrics, or home health strongly preferred. - Experience with ILOC determination processes and DHCS PACE submission requirements. - Strong Epic clinical documentation and workflow management experience. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable navigating multiple software platforms simultaneously, including electronic health records and CRM systems. - Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, compliance-driven workflows. - Ability to travel to conduct in-person ERN quality meetings as needed. - Excellent organization, communications, written and verbal communication skills. - Proof of medical clearance for communicable diseases, including a TB test. - Proof of all immunizations up to date. - Proof of current CPR/BLS certification or able to obtain certification within 30 days of employment. Compensation We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. The expected base salary range for this position is $119,000 - $139,000 commensurate with experience. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
