Job Description

Product Manager, Gene to Protein Lab Essentials

GenScript

• Understand customer needs and workflows across bioassays, functional assays, reagent-based assays, and related application areas. • Conduct voice-of-customer interviews with biopharma, CRO, academic, and assay development customers. • Analyze market trends, customer segments, competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, and application requirements. • Support product positioning, messaging, value proposition, and differentiation. • Work cross-functionally with R&D, sales, marketing, and regional teams to translate market needs into product and commercial plans. • Develop go-to-market materials, sales tools, customer-facing content, and launch support plans. • Identify KOLs, key accounts, and collaboration opportunities to support market development.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, market development, or business development in life sciences tools, reagents, assays, or biotech solutions.
  • Familiarity with bioassay workflows, reagent-based assays, cell-based assays, reporter systems, or plate-based detection technologies.
  • Experience with VOC, market analysis, competitive assessment, product positioning, launch planning, and sales enablement.
  • Strong commercial sense and ability to translate customer needs into actionable product and marketing strategy.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
