• Own overall commercial performance within assigned territory, including revenue, orders, and pipeline development • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory growth strategy aligned to business objectives • Drive year-over-year growth across the full HSS product portfolio • Manage and grow a portfolio of key and strategic accounts within the territory • Build and maintain strong relationships across OEMs, end users, and distribution partners • Develop and execute detailed account plans to increase share of wallet • Identify and pursue opportunities across the HSS portfolio • Identify and generate new business opportunities, including new logo acquisition • Build and maintain a robust pipeline • Expand presence across new applications, industries, and customers within the territory • Lead and coordinate territory team resources (e.g., Field Application Engineers, Distribution Managers) • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs • Position Honeywell as a strategic partner through integrated solution selling • Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage pipeline through Salesforce.com (SFDC)

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in outside/field sales in a related industrial or technical field
  • Experience managing a geographic territory and owning a sales quota
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building pipeline
  • Experience working with OEM customers and/or distribution networks
  • Ability to sell technical products and solution-based offerings
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%+ within assigned territory
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Experience selling across a broad portfolio or multi-product environment
  • Strong strategic thinking and territory planning capabilities
  • Experience working across multiple industries (oil & gas, transportation, healthcare, aerospace, etc.)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization and influence without authority
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.com

Core Contributions - Leadership & Team Management - Supervise and support all SBA Processing department activities, including oversight of SBA Loan Processors and support staff. - Train, mentor, and develop new and existing SBA Processing staff to build a highly skilled, cross-trained team. - Conduct performance evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and participate in recruiting and interviewing candidates. - Delegate assignments effectively, develop work schedules, and ensure optimal resource utilization. - Lead regular team meetings, including weekly pipeline reviews, to monitor loan progress and projected closing timelines. - Serve as a role model by reinforcing a culture of superior customer service and accountability. - Loan Processing & Quality Control - Perform comprehensive reviews throughout the SBA loan lifecycle, including: - Initial needs letters prepared by SBA Loan Processors - E-Tran submission Applications - Disbursement fee sheets, settlement statements, and wire requests - First and second pre-funding file reviews - Ensure timely processing and funding of SBA loans in alignment with target closing dates. - Monitor balancing, accuracy, and completeness of loan documentation. - Ensure compliance with SBA SOPs, federal and state regulations, and internal policies. - Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including SBA guidelines, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. - Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard customer loans, collateral, credit union assets, and confidential information. - Monitor staff adherence to compliance standards and operational procedures. - Operations & Vendor Oversight - Review and process third-party vendor invoices on a monthly basis. - Maintain and update departmental documentation, templates, checklists, and procedures. - Ensure all files and records are complete, current, and properly organized. - Assist in the development and implementation of SBA-related policies and procedures. - Collaboration & Communication - Partner with Loan Officers and internal departments to coordinate workflow and resolve documentation or processing issues. - Communicate effectively with staff, management, borrowers, and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues. - Serve on internal committees and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. - Provide guidance on systems usage and troubleshoot minor software issues, including SBA CAFS/E-Tran systems. - Reporting & Special Projects - Prepare reports and gather data for senior management, audit, and compliance purposes. - Update and maintain SBA loan data in systems such as Salesforce. - Lead or participate in special projects as assigned by senior leadership. - Customer Service & Support - Resolve complex customer transactions, inquiries, and issues. - Ensure all team interactions meet high standards of professionalism and service excellence. - Provide phone support and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel as needed. Qualifications - Associate’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field required or equivalent work experience. - 7+ years of experience with SBA or related area. - 3+ years of supervisory experience. - Advanced knowledge of SBA processing documentation/operations and leadership, products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Credit union operational policies and procedures. - Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work with minimal supervision. - Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs. - Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to carry out instructions. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
