Senior Recovery and Resolution Analyst

Role Description This position is National Remote. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. The Senior Recovery / Resolution Analyst will work with a team on researching issues to determine feasibility of reducing medical costs through prospective solutions of claim system processes and claim business rules. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. This will be paid on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Primary Responsibilities: - Examine, assess, and document business operations and procedures to ensure data integrity, data security and process optimization. - Investigate, recover, and resolve all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers, and government entities. - Investigate and pursue recoveries and payables on medical claims. - Initiate phone calls to members, providers, and other insurance companies. - Process payment on claims. - Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies, and contract compliance. - Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise. Qualifications - High school Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience. - Must be 18 years of age OR older. - 2+ years of experience with claims auditing and researching claims information. - 1+ years of experience analyzing data and identifying cost saving opportunities. - Experience working with medical claims platforms. - Experience in healthcare. - Experience with Payment Integrity. - Knowledge of claims processing systems and guidelines/processes. - Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel (create, edit, sort, filter, pivot tables). - Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Preferred Qualifications - 1+ years of project management experience. - Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Reimbursement methodologies. - Microsoft Access (create, edit, format, manipulate data). Telecommuting Requirements - Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable). - Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. - Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. Pay and Benefits Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as: - A comprehensive benefits package. - Incentive and recognition programs. - Equity stock purchase. - 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 - $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Role Description The IT Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) works with members of MediQuant’s agile development team to find and fix defects in a collaborative and pragmatic way. The QA is a functional expert in our SaaS web applications and provides direct feedback to the team. They work closely with a Business Systems Analyst and Product Manager to understand how they will validate the quality of the team’s development and can clearly communicate how our products are designed to work. They embrace whole team ownership and can adapt to rapidly changing priorities while working as part of a high performing team which releases and performs regression tests monthly. QA partners with developers to provide daily feedback and tests in both a development and test environment. Qualifications - Associate’s Degree preferred; minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required. - Minimum 2 years of firsthand work experience with IT quality assurance and testing of highly configurable web applications with significant size, scope and complexity is required. - Familiar with agile development, quality assurance principles, inspection techniques and testing procedures, test result documentation. - Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting. - Passion for automated testing techniques or a strong desire to learn them. - Must understand complete SDLC. - QA certification (e.g. CSTE Certified Software Test Engineer) is a plus. - Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus. - Programming knowledge with C# or a strong desire to learn would be a plus.
