Job Requirements

  • Proven Experience with Large & Remote Events: Demonstrated track record of planning and executing large-scale corporate events for 500+ attendees, with deep expertise in managing both in-person and fully remote/hybrid experiences.
  • The Events Lifecycle Expertise: Direct experience managing long-term event project management cycles (from early budgeting and scoping in mid-year to peak execution and post-event wrap-ups).
  • Extreme Ownership & Autonomy: Proven ability to run complex, multi-quarter event budgets and global logistics independently, requiring minimal supervision from leadership.
  • Obsession with Details: A hands-on profile with a sharp eye for every single detail required to make an event seamless, high-energy, and flawless (from vendor management to technical production).
  • Executive Presence: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and maturity to collaborate directly with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), VPs, and external agency heads.
  • Bonus Points (Nice to Have): Experience designing and executing global incentive trips, performance rewards programs, or elite corporate recognition events (e.g., President’s Club).
  • Advanced/Fluent English is mandatory. Please note that language proficiency will be assessed during the interview process.

Role Description The Countermeasure Technician executes Operations Event Support and plays an essential role in GXC’s Technical Operations team under the Countermeasure Division. This entry-level position focuses on the setup, deployment, and basic maintenance of CEIA OPENGATE and PMD (Walk-Through Metal Detector) systems, primarily used for securing high-traffic venues such as sports events, concerts, festivals, and conventions. This is a remote position event-based and scheduled according to operational demand. Technicians serve as GXC’s frontline technical ambassadors, ensuring mission readiness, equipment integrity, and client satisfaction in both dynamic and demanding operational environments. Essential Functions - Assist in staging, deploying, and repacking CEIA OPENGATE and PMD systems at designated screening locations under the direction of senior staff or event leads. - Prepare batteries, power up units, and verify proper operation of detectors prior to gate opening. Replace or recharge batteries during events as needed. - GXC staff assist events based on specific client needs, ensure equipment functions properly, support gate operations, and provide guidance without assuming liability for event decisions. - Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with venue staff, guests, and team members. - Communicate clearly and report any issues promptly to the Technical Operations Manager or designated lead. - Clean, repack, and inventory detectors and associated gear. Assist in following the post-event inventory and wrap-up SOP, ensuring all units are accounted for.
