Role Description As a Clinical Development Specialist (CDS) in Electrophysiology (EP), you are responsible for driving market share within defined and detractor accounts while supporting the adoption of Abbott technologies. You will act as a backup to the Field Technical Engineer (FTE) team where required. In addition, you will contribute to the implementation and execution of regional education programs and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the central EMEA strategy and supporting the overall business growth in Germany. Roles & Responsibilities - Execute strategic direction per competitor account with territory manager & support sales team in engaging trial/use of Abbott technology; take on commercial responsibilities as and when required. - Provide primary technical support to physicians and nurses during Electrophysiology procedures using Abbott equipment over the assigned territory while bringing new centers/physicians on board. - Drive adoption of Abbott technologies by supporting trials, product evaluations, and strategic account initiatives in collaboration with Sales. - Provide hands-on technical and clinical support during electrophysiology procedures and onboard new centers and physicians. - Deliver targeted training programs for physicians, healthcare professionals, and internal teams in alignment with central education strategies and ensure effective handover to Field Technical Engineers in post-trial phase. - Design and deliver training programs for physicians, healthcare professionals, and internal teams in alignment with central education strategies. - Support Train-the-Trainer concepts and contribute clinical expertise to customer presentations and internal meetings. - Support product launches, congresses, and marketing initiatives, ensuring effective local execution of central strategies. - Gather and analyze market insights, customer feedback, and competitor activities to support Sales & Marketing decisions. - Understand how Abbott’s product portfolio compares to competition, to be able to offer an Abbott’s solution to customer in as many situations as possible. - Produce concise market and competition reports for the Sales and Marketing team, providing the organization with competitive devices information. - Proactively communicate to the Sales and Marketing organization relevant information that can pertain to: the account, the physicians, product preferences, procedural preference, etc. Qualifications - Education in scientific, medical or technical field; Bachelor or Master degree preferred but not a must. - Medical background or Qualification as Medizinprodukteberater (according to MPG) is a plus. - In-depth experience in a EP technical role, ideally 5+ years. - Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol. - Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge. - Experience in designing and delivering training programs. - Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to support Abbott’s product technically and from a sales perspective. - Good computer utilization and presentation skills to include: MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point) and Email. - Fluent in German and English. - Willingness to travel extensively. Role Description This Electrical Product Inspector position is responsible for performing inspections at manufacturing facilities to ensure that products are being manufactured in accordance with established standards and specifications created by Intertek. What you'll do: - Plan and conduct surveillance inspections in accordance with scheduling requirements. - Document manufacturer’s production and quality processes; review required production tests, including methods, equipment used and calibration of equipment. - Inspect ETL Listed products, subassemblies and components with respect to the Certification Documents; review ETL label inventory and control; review non-compliances issued as a result of previous inspections and document unresolved issues; select samples as directed. - Document compliance and non-compliance found during the inspection and advise clients on proper resolution. - Complete and submit Follow-up Service Inspection Report for each client inspected. - Communicate information between facility representatives and Intertek personnel. - Maintain expenses within given guidelines. - Perform other work as required. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED and 10+ years directly related experience; associate degree in related area and 5+ years directly related experience; or bachelor’s degree in related area and 1+ year directly related experience. - Experience in electronic/electrical testing or quality/reliability testing, engineering, electrical inspection, manufacturing or quality control is required. - Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable driving record. - Ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 75%. - Familiarity with the “National Electric Code” and/or product compliance requirements to nationally recognized safety standards is a plus. - Knowledge of Quality Control methods (ISO 9000/14000, QS 9000, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen & Statistical Process Control) a plus. - Must have access to the internet. - Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. - Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. - Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
