Senior Content Specialist

Jenzabar

• Lead content initiatives to support Jenzabar’s communications, thought leadership, and brand awareness objectives • Develop thought leadership campaigns that showcase Jenzabar’s industry expertise, as well as the strengths and knowledge of Jenzabar’s subject matter experts • Serve as lead writer, editor, and strategist for communications and content, including case studies, product sheets, emails, and other marketing-related materials • Lead the creation of content used for external communications and brand initiatives, including industry award programs, event speaking engagements, and more • Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand emerging trends in higher education and incorporate those storylines into Jenzabar’s content and communications strategies • Support initiatives with media and analyst organizations by demonstrating Jenzabar’s domain expertise and ability to execute transformative programs across higher education • Create and maintain a blog calendar that incorporates content aligned with the company’s goals and OKRs • Support Product Marketing, Digital, Creative, and other Marketing teams in the development and execution of ABM programs intended to generate qualified leads and increase the sales pipeline • Work closely with Product Marketing, Digital, and Creative teams to craft compelling brand stories that differentiate Jenzabar from competitors • Assist in the development and execution of digital advertising campaigns • Create and enhance webpage content using SEO, GEO, and other emerging best practices • Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and drive measurable business outcomes when appropriate • Apply sound judgment and ethical standards when using AI, ensuring accuracy, data privacy, and responsible human-in-the-loop oversight • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in copywriting and/or communications
  • Impeccable grammar and exemplary writing skills
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Higher education or technology industry experience is a plus
