• Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing family law pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, and other legal documents. • Manage client files and maintain organized case records, including electronic and physical documents. • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and other appointments. • Prepare and organize trial, mediation, and other event materials, exhibits, and witness lists. • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial motions and other required documents. • Efficiently manage the e-filing process for various legal documents, ensuring timely submissions and accurate record-keeping. • Monitor and adhere to all court-mandated deadlines and other time-sensitive matters, assisting in correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. • Professionally handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries, and routing them to the appropriate parties. • Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed of case progress and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Law
- 2+ years of proven experience in family law, including handling cases related to marriage, divorce, custody, and support.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of family law and legal procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal software.
- Excellent legal research, writing skills, and the ability to draft complex legal documents.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and other staff members.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Role Description Creek Technologies (CreekTech) is actively seeking highly motivated, part-time remote adjunct professors to teach Naval Studies courses at the US Naval Community College (USNCC). - Courses: - NAV 101: Military ethics, philosophy, leadership, law (post JD degree, such as, LLM in military law), U.S. history, and political science. - NAV 102: U.S. History, military history, government, strategic studies, and public policy. - NAV 103: U.S. national security studies, American government, political science, organizational design, naval engineering, and systems engineering. - NAV 104: U.S. national security studies, American government and politics, comparative politics, public policy, public administration, and American history. - NAV 105: Political science, comparative politics, international relations, and U.S. security studies.
