Job Description

Director of Product – M&A, Strategy and Technology Partnerships

Fortive

• Own Intelex's inorganic growth strategy end-to-end — from opportunity identification through due diligence, recommendation, and post-close integration planning. • Define acquisition criteria aligned to Intelex's product strategy, target markets, and technology gaps, in collaboration with the CPTO and executive leadership. • Build and maintain a proprietary pipeline of acquisition targets and strategic investment opportunities. • Lead product and technology due diligence on acquisition candidates. • Partner with Corporate Development, Finance, and Legal to structure and execute transactions. • Build and own Intelex's market intelligence and competitive intelligence function.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline required. MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in product strategy, corporate development, strategy consulting, or a combination thereof within enterprise SaaS or technology markets.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or significantly contributing to M&A processes, including target identification, due diligence, and integration planning.
  • Proven track record in building and managing technology partnerships, including commercial negotiation and joint go-to-market execution.
  • Deep knowledge of the EHSQ and ESG markets strongly preferred. Familiarity with Intelex's competitive landscape is a significant advantage.
  • Experience building or leading a market intelligence or competitive intelligence function, including analyst relations management.

Benefits

  • Strategic Impact: Shape how Intelex grows beyond its organic portfolio — owning the decisions that define the company's competitive position for the next decade.
  • Market Leadership: Join a company with 1,400+ customers across 30+ countries operating in the fastest-growing segments of enterprise software — ESG, AI-enabled safety analytics, and supply chain compliance.
  • Purpose-Driven Mission: Work on products that contribute to a safer, more sustainable world by empowering organizations to make smarter, more responsible decisions.
  • Executive Visibility: Report directly to the CPTO and work in close partnership with the CEO and executive leadership on the company's most strategically consequential decisions.
