Job Description
Program Manager, EpiC, STRIDES
FHI 360
• Provide program management oversight to a portfolio of 3 - 5 countries implementing both STRIDES and EpiC activities. • Serve as the main HQ point of contact on assigned country programs. • Supervise program staff in-country and be responsible for ensuring successful start-up, implementation and close-out in conjunction with in-country teams and other FHI 360 departments. • Lead project start-up, workplan and budget development in collaboration with technical and finance staff. • Liaise with project offices related to program management and execution; ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Health, Nutrition, International Development, Social Science or a Related Field.
- Masters preferred.
- Project Management (PM) Certification preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience with project management principles and practices.
- 2+ years of line management experience required.
- Experience supervising senior level staff required.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish required; fluency preferred.
- Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private organization.
- Prior experience starting up new programs internationally preferred.
- Previous experience working on global health projects including USG and PEPFAR supported programs preferred.
