Role Description This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Product Manager, Fraud and Compliance, joining the Fintech area. As Remote grows and handles larger transaction volumes across countries, so does our exposure to fraud, credit risk, and compliance risk. This role owns the systems and strategies that protect Remote and its customers — from onboarding verification and screening, to credit risk assessment and reserve management, to fraud detection and enforcement across the full customer lifecycle. You'll drive the evolution of our risk and compliance capabilities from reactive, rule-based controls toward proactive, automated systems that identify risk signals early and scale without proportional increases in manual effort. This is a high-autonomy, high-stakes role. You'll report to the Director of Product and work closely with Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Legal, Collections, and Engineering. Qualifications - Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code is required. - AI fluency. - Seasoned Product Manager, with a track record on platform, API, or products for operational teams. - Platform mindset. - Strong UX sensibilities. - Outstanding communication and collaboration skills. - Data-driven decision-making. - Fast learner with a growth mindset. - Great judgment - making strategic and tactical decisions. - Business-level proficiency writing and speaking English. Role Description The Product Manager leads one of Watermark's products or modules, defining a clear product strategy tied to the portfolio vision and driving sustained product growth and success. They serve as the go-to expert for their product and its market and take an ownership posture over delivery: unblocking the team, ensuring quality, and driving outcomes. Working with other product managers, designers, engineers, and subject matter experts, they apply user-centered design and iterative delivery principles to maximize value delivered.
